Program for someone returning to Lifting (From scratch)

    Sup,

I haven't lifted since December 2015. I was at an intermediate stage, certainly in terms of strength (was benching 265lbx8, shoulder pressing 80lbs dumbbells x8, barbell rowing around the same as I was benching and squatting around 300 x5 - ive bad legs and could never really squat properly - something I hope to fix this time). I weighed around 200lbs, but was never lean.

I got some injuries and never really got back in to it. A year later, in December weighing around the same as I did the year before, but obviously with less muscle and more fat,I went backpacking for ~4 months. While I was away I lost weight naturally, but then got sick (still am). I now weigh 160lbs!!! I dont look 160lbs, I still have some size to my shoulders and chest (not much), but at 6 foot, this is waaay too light for my liking. What makes it even more horrible, is I still dont have abs!!! God damn my crap body type.

Anyway, once I get better,I intend on getting back to lifting. So I want to know what program you guys would suggest for getting some size and strength on me asap. Obviously I know diet will be important. Its going to be strange gaining weight eating such little calories compared to in the past.

Fierce 5 Novice seems to be the general recommendation round here, started it myself 3 weeks ago.

I used to be very serious into lifting, and then just had spells where my interested ebbed and flowed. I've been doing stronglifts 5x5 for a few months now and it's worked very well for me.

    Stronglifts indeed seems very popular
