This.
Bonnape bro, I'm mirin hard at keeping at it with PSMF, but if I didn't know any better your ass has a much worst eating disorder than me and most of the guys here tbh. Stop the binges bro, try eating moderately at 2000-2500 cal for a few weeks before you go on another PSMF run. Whether you're making progress or not with PSMF and the binges, I'd say you need a mental break bro.
But then again.... do what the fuk you want cuz lmao getting shredded ain't easy.
Nah, but srs I think you need a break bro. Post a pic of the progress you've made though. You're probably shredded by now or atleast 12% bf with the 2-3 cycles you've done.Manchester United

Not think, know. We were in a groupme together from our crew and after numerous attempts at helping him, most ignored him.
Was too hungry for studying yesterday, ate 100g of oatmeal and 100g of rice. Lol i slept like a baby from 10.30pm to 10am. Also had a gnarly leg day
Ate my meal consisting of 650g mixed vegs, 100g egg whites and 450g of chicken at 5pm, and have 200g whites+ 25g of whey left for a total of 165 prots,25carbs, 18fats. 980 cals.
A bit more than i'd like, but honestly, i look lean enough and im not following psmf to the p anymore

I've taken the time to read the handbook and since I've gotten pretty used to eating at a deficit without going crazy (1,800-1,900 calories a day). I'm currently down 8lbs in my cut in 5 weeks and looking to speed things up a little bit.
I'm going to do this for the recommended 10-12 days for category 1. I intend to start May 22nd and run it until Saturday June 3rd for a re-feed. At that point, I'll return to maintenance if I'm where I want to be or just take a break for a bit as recommended before returning to a normal deficit to get where I want to be. My reasoning for waiting to start it is that my younger brother is going to do it with me (he's a little over weight) and we're going to sit down to plan things out and need some time to do so.
Question: would you guys recommend just staying in my deficit as I am now until I go down (I imagine this will be easier) OR should I do a quick maintenance week before psmf? I feel I should mention I haven't noticed any strength lost yet. Training volume is definitely down but strength is still there.AE APE results thread: https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=144074851&p=867099761&viewfull=1#post867099761

soooo about my above post: should I stay at my current deficit before transitioning into psmf or do a week of maintenance before going into psmf?

Here is a question..... I'm probably roughly 15% now.....still trying to cut to get near 12-10%..... if by some insane reason I decided to try this, would it be smart to wait until I'm in the 10-12% range to do it?
Also, anyone have issue with rebound weight once you go back to eating normal?6'1 - 240lbs

He lists a fast and a slow way of doing it in his book. The slow way from what I gathered (honestly I kind of skimmed here) is more recommended for those who aren't familiar with what they are eating and may not be certain of serving sizes and stuff like that. It's easy for them to put weight back on because they don't know what 4oz of chicken looks like, or what a serving of potatoes actually is. For those that are used to that sort of thing, going right back to maintenance is ok as you or I are always well aware of what we need to eat to maintain as well as know our serving sizes. Again, someone else will correct me but that's what I gathered from my quick read through that section.

People were discussing it on Lyle's forum and he said take 'up to 2 weeks to get to maintenance' after the diet. Sounded like there wasn't a cut & dry strict plan, just ease back to maintenance over a week or two. Some people on his forum go to -10% of maintenance for a week, then go to maintenance level the second week.

This
Not this
You're a category 1 by Lyle's book. I'd suggest hopping on now to get you down to 10-12% in a few weeks. Those last few percentages are the worst.
You're going to have some weight fluctuation with the addition of carbs again but unless you go full potato and start binge eating, you'll stabilize within a few pounds of your target weight. Maintain for a while and cut again if you wanna go a bit farther.
