Hi All,
I would please like to be part of this. I was originally 330ish in 2009, got down to around 195 in 2012, and then went up and down and hovered around 220 for about 4 years. Recently, I've let myself go and I'm back up to 247, I'm distinctly unhappy and have thoughts similar to how I felt back in 2009. Luckily, I'm not that big yet! so need to crack on.
Becoming Smaller, I'm not currently able to PM you - I'm not sure if this is because the site has changed since I was last here (although I've been a member for a long time) or if it's because I need to be more 'regularly'. Would you accept my first weigh in via this post?
Today: 247
(initial) Goal: 224

Back in again. Still cutting. Virtually no fat left on my legs, forearms are leaning out, everything on my upper arms (biceps/delt area) and torso is staying put, I look hilarious right now.
No lifting/cardio this week because I'm playing four shows. Will weigh in on Monday AM.***THE AFRO POPE: "The Man Who Never Gets Mad Online"***

Starting Weight: 236.5
Week 1: 4/7/17: 233.5
Week 2: 4/14/17: 231.5
2 more pounds destroyed and still on track for my long goal of hitting 215 by my b-day, late june. Things were a bit more challenging this week because our fridge kicked the bucket and we lost a lot of food. We ate out more often than usual but I tried to make smart choices... except for the medium buttered popcorn at the theater yesterday. No regrets.

Week 2 Weigh in: 202.0 (-3.8)
This has been a very unusual week. I don't believe that weigh-in is accurate. For the first time this year I've been actually sick. Starting saturday morning up until today I have been severely sick. So much that I decided to skip most workouts to let my body focus on recovery. So from saturday until this weigh in I only got 1 workout in. Now on top of that we were off class for good friday so the weekend partying started thursday night, leaving me dehydrated this morning, leading to a lower than anticipated weigh in.
I did purposely eat a little less during the week because I knew I wasn't working out, but much of this apparent "loss" I'm chalking up to dehydration. I believe next week will be a much more accurate representation.

Kind of a strange noob question to ask after doing this for around 1 and a half years now, but does anybody have any tips for the best foods to eat that will help you feel full? Tbh my diet has been very similar ever since I started, and the reason I'm asking is because my discipline seems to slip a lot more regularly than it used to, which I'm assuming is mostly down to hunger. I'm still losing weight and going forwards, but it's at a much slower pace than I was going at which I know is natural in general but obviously these regular slips in discipline do not help. I kinda feel like I need to change my shopping list up slightly, but figured I would ask on here what foods people have experienced helping them feel satiated for longer?
Getting back into it!

I have found that increasing protein and cutting back on carbs has helped me a ton. I never would have thought that I'd feel as satiated as I do now while eating this much less than I used to eat. And for me the biggest change has been increasing protein to hit my 0.8g/lb bodyweight goal and reducing carbs as necessary to accomplish that goal.
