    Bulk Help

18 y/o, 5'6. 132lbs, I've made decent progress since I started lifting, but I'm confused by all this nutritional and muscle building vs strength building advice. Right now, I'm following greyskull LP after doing Stronglifts for a while, and going to be bulking(or at least try), and gain 1/2lb a week(so far I've lost 2 lbs, going to up my calories) by eating ~2900kcal a day. I lift 3 times a week, and wait tables at a busy place 5 times a week, usually about 25-30 hours. I also have a pretty fat chest, not sure how to get rid of it, I figure that by getting bigger and cutting back down it will go away. Also, I've read multiple things about eating right, IIFYM aka eating "healthy" doesn't matter, eating clean vs dirty, etc. I track my cals, but I don't know what advice to follow. Every time I second-guess by looking at my body, I seem to have more and more questions. Anyway my lifts are:
    Bench: MAX 160x5 3 sets
    Squat 170x5 3 sets
    DL: 200x5 1 set

I'd appreciate any real advice, scientifically proven stuff that works, which seems the best in most cases. I've read most of the fat loss and nutritional stickies and other stuff as well. Anyway the "start" picture is me in 2015, then the next two pictures are me as of now. Thanks for reading.

Your body fat percentage isn't exactly low and to say you're 2 years in you don't seem to have significantly changed really at all.

Find out what your maintenance calories are and eat around that whilst lifting. See if your body is able to build muscle and burn fat for a short period whilst you're still a beginner.. Wouldn't recommend IIFYM for yourself as it's possible you'll over eat looking at your BF%

I'd say, for one thing, that you need to push yourself harder in the gym, based off of how close your bench is to your other two listed lifts. (But I CAN see progress in your pictures.)
