Okay so I'm 18 years old. I used to be 190 pounds im currently 150 and I've just started clean bulking at just a 300 calorie surplus. My body can gain weight really easily and I've been fat before I ever even knew I was fat which is why I'm doing a clean bulk now. But i have friends who believe I should just eat whatever i want and lift cuz I'm still young and I'm growing and not to worry about it until like I'm 20 or 21. But I'm still worried to get fat again lol. My initial plan was to clean bulk until 160ish and cut back to 150 and keep doing that until I gain enough muscle mass im comfortable with to just cut or bulk to a more "permanent" number. Much end goal isn't to get super huge just cuz I'm 5'7 and I'd rather be kinda big than extremely big and look shorter than I am lol
