FWIW, I have placed a couple orders with this company and both were canceled due to unavailability (already sold). Weeks later I noticed the items were still for sale and sent an email inquiring about them just to see what they would say. I got a reply that said items were in great condition, etc. and ready to ship. I asked for more photos and after about a week got a reply that the items had been sold before I ever sent that first email. Weeks later the items were still listed for sale (and still are today, months later). When I told my buddy about my experience, he said he had a similar experience with Revalue. They're listing items they don't have - for traffic, to get card details, to get personal info .... who knows. They're fishy regardless.

Fantastic machine, excellent motion path (slight decline with convergence), no stress on my 55 year old rotator cuffs, plus the footbars really useful. It's just that I'm starting my own personal training studio and want to focus on mostly selectorized equipment. I just don't want to be loading and unloading plates all day...

This thread, started by Chris (HealthNut MD), is devoted to evaluating muscle-building machines and reporting back to its members, which ones are the "best of the best". It provides a service to both members and the muscle-building world in general, coming from a 'pool' of critics, as to which machines are the best value when purchasing machines.
Chris, has early on, laid down evaluating perimeters used in judging which machines are the "best". His basic parameters for evaluating machine design were, "range of motion (a maximum being best); ..."motion path stability" (applying a smooth and solid feel to the contracting muscles throughout the range of motion); ..."adequate and proper body support while performing the exercise movement" (fixing the position of the rest of the body in such a way that the contracting muscles can focus on contraction only).
Some added evaluation parameters would be to have features (such as free-limb assist or 'racking' mechanisms) to allow easy start and finish to full ranges of motion; and user friendly simplicity of machine design (minimum necessary adjustments) so that the machines are easy for operators to 'set up' and use.
Obviously, the construction of the machine plays an important role too, in evaluating a machine (providing for higher durability and reliability).
I am simply informing the 'critics' in the Orlando, FL area that "Rival Athletics Gym" (in Kissimmee) has acquired a new plate-loaded pulldown machine. I will stake my own reputation on the fact that this machine is different than other plate-loaded pulldown machines, and is worthy of being evaluated. As I understand it, the machine will arrive sometime next week.

It has been really busy here. I have been working 2 positions and working on finalizing the new construction plans with the city. Should be breaking ground soon. A part of the gym will have 30 ft ceilings, the remainder will have 14 ft.
In the meantime, there is still a chance to join my Panatta order if you like. I plan on submitting the order next week. If anyone is interested let me know.Last edited by HealthNutMD; 02-26-2020 at 08:44 PM.

9,000 sq ft home, with the majority of the downstairs being the gym. Totally open floor plan, 14' ceilings with a large section that has a 30' atrium. (2 story on the intercoastal).
That's why I've not been as active as usual... had been working a lot.
Picked up a plate loaded Free Motion Power Squar. Next will be the new Panatta machines.
Sometime next year, around the time of completion of the project, I plan to pick up a full height Pit Shark. Then hopefully Fall of 2021 I'll return to Panatta and check out the next new set of machines coming out. I saw a ton of new prototypes when I was there
... some will be amazing.
You know I have a lot of their machines modified....
I can't wait to get those machines I was working on finished....Can't do it while they are in storage. They are packed too close. 2500+ warehouses are too expensive to rent, I need the money for this build....{}---{} Best of the Best Machines and Free Weights Crew #1 {}---{}

Hello! Thanks for this thread it has been very helpful in deciding which pieces to get. I just ordered some pieces for my gym from panatta. I got the super incline bench press, decline chest press, and ab machine (all freeweight).
I’ve actually never even tried a panatta machine before! Think these 3 are good choices to start with?!
Also Are you still doing a group order? I shoulda got in on that if you are! Maybe I’ll have to order more! Haha

I have to say that I am quite certain I would not like it for a few reasons. Sometimes a piece that looks OK doesn't end up panning out. I don't like the forward facing. The free form motion path I think looks good on paper, but doesn't feel good in reality.
I really wish I could show you the custom panatta lat pull down I have, hands down the best pull down I have, and better than the plate loaded version which is my second favorite. We have 2 people ordering it now on the current order. The last XP Lux to be made. I really hope they make it again in Monolith or another line....

I’ve been to the madhouse gym Austell location once and was given a tour and rundown of almost every piece in there. The collection of equipment is incredible and the place should be featured on Mutant on a mission. I’ve not been to the first location which has more leg equipment.

Can you post a video on the custom Panatta XP Lux pulldown you had done? I don't recall seeign those before. Realize you may not have access right now, even just the exact model you customized and a description of changes would be great.
[QUOTE=HealthNutMD;1599640181]Yes, I thought that was from Pendulum, and then they confirmed it in the video.

Thanks for posting that. I just got off the phone with them. Its a great machine. I was looking for updates on their next machines and when they will be available.
The Gluteator is doing well, as it should.
Climbing the walls waiting for the day I can move in to the new place and finish working on the machines....{}---{} Best of the Best Machines and Free Weights Crew #1 {}---{}
