i was going to go to this live since it's not that far from me, but this card kind of sucks.

i'll watch it, but it's definitely not worth paying for a ticket and a hotel room.

I know I'm weird, but I don't really love going to see sports live anyway. I've been to Strikeforce and UFC both here in Nashville. And honestly, I'd rather just watch it on TV. I can see better and it's just a better experience and I can relax and not have to wait in line for an hour to take a piss. UFC is coming back to Nashville pretty soon and I'm 99% not going.

The one exception to my sports rule is minor league baseball and high school football. Both are ok because there aren't 40,000 rednecks all crammed into one small space. You can sit back and enjoy yourself lol.

Almost choked on my water when I read "Cynthia Calvillo vs. Pearl Gonzalez" as the third fight on the main card. Lmao. Can't be a UFC ppv main card without a token women's fight these days it seems. Blachowicz/Cummins or the Jury fight would've fit better as the fifth fight.

Oh well, still a decent card, or at least the first two fights.

I think DC is too old and too fat now. He gassed vs Andy which isn't a good sign. I don't get the DC hate but I've wanted to see Rumble vs Jones for years now, plus he's much more exciting than DC.

Both of these fights are so hard to call.

Rumble v Cormier - Leaning toward Rumble. Kinda wonder how much of a distraction all that commentating on tv for Cormier has been. He's also aging. Who knows, though.

Mousasi v Weidman - Slightly leaning towards Mousasi, but also hard to call imo.


Will definitely be tuning in for the last two fights.

I don't think it's an out of this world outcome, Weidman is coming off two losses, the last one being a brutal knockout. Moose been underrated for awhile, lots of experience and champion in two weight classes over in DREAM.

Yeah, 'miracle' was a pretty poor choice. All else being equal, I'd favor Weidman's skillset. I'd forgotten that Weidman had had his brains scrambled in his last two outings though.

Thursday is a solid bet, lets figure he blows out his knee going too hard in practice on tuesday and AKA sits on the injury news for a couple days hoping he magically fixes himself, leading to the fight being scrapped, so the UFC promotes the Irene Aldana vs. Katlyn Chookagian fight from the lolfightpass prelim to replace it as the main event after not being able to find anyone to fill in.
