I don't get the DC hate tbh.

I thought about it the other day when someone said that it's 100% because of his feud with Jon Jones, and that's got to be it.
Because nothing else makes sense.
People loved him back when he was in Strikeforce. He was fuking wrecking the HW division, and then he went to the UFC and did the same thing to the LHW division. The only fight he's ever lost was to the greatest MMA fighter in the history of the sport.
Aside from all of his athletic accomplishments, he's a family man, he coaches kids wrestling, he's one of the good guys of the sport, he's well-spoken, and he's a pretty good analyst.
He is the superior to Jon Jones in every conceivable way... except Jon won three rounds to DC's two rounds.
Anyway, it says a lot more about the person who roots for Jon Jones and boos DC than it does about either fighter to be honest.

I do think the momentum is on Mousasi's side right now. He still has something to prove, and I think that's making him very dangerous.
I had Chris tied up with Romero coming into that third round, I believe. But if we're being honest, he just hasn't been that same guy since he looked like garbage in that Rockhold fight. But if his Instagram is any indication, he's in shape and back in great shape again.
If I'm not mistaken, Chris is taller with a reach advantage, so Mousasi will be trying to get inside (into boxing/clinch range) on Chris, which may give Chris opportunities to change levels and shoot a double (and hope he doesn't get his head smashed again like he did against Romero).
All that said, I think the edge goes to Mousasi, but I don't doubt that Chris is still one of the top 10, maybe top 5 guys... I just don't know if he's still that top 3 guy anymore.

Yep, Drew, Weidman has a longer reach but they are the same height. I don't know if Moose dealt with someone that has the top game as Weidman.
I had Chris tied up with Romero too. Lot of clinching exchanges in that fight. I think Gegard has better timing and can hurt Chris in the exchanges and Gegard has upped his killer instinct the past few fights. Chris is still overall more athletic but we have seen him slow down a bit too.
I REALLY want to see him get a title shot. Chris has had his time tbh.A hit was sent, from the President, to raid your residence /

Post USADA wideman has been pretty damn average.
Gegard has a win against Jacare who is a far superior top game performer than wideman imo. I thought Chris was actually winning that Romero fight until he took the superknee to the face, but overall hes not looked great, he was only winning because Romero wasnt really doing much. For every man, there is a sentence, a string of words, that has the power to destroy him

DC is the dude who never quit being a bully from high school. He thinks everyone around him likes him, but they don't. Guy comes off as a ****ing chode... I never paid much attention to him outside the ring but watching those embedded vidoes, I can stand the dude. He definitely is a try hard.
Rumble on the other hand, would have a beer with/10.4% shredded with striated!

Watching the embedded and UFC countdown videos make me want both DC and Rumble to win. I'm still pulling for Rumble because I think he has a better chance of beating Jones and DC has had his time. I never thought I'd say this but I'm actually rooting for Wineman now too. Always thought of him as an unlikeable ******* but I actually hope he wins this.
