What would be the healthiest and most filling choice for something to pack for school lunch?
I've tried packing a ham and veggie sandwich with fruit but I usually end up getting hungry again after school. I try to avoid the school lunch so it's packed with fats and sodium, even the salads. I don't get home until 5 since I have track practice so I try my best to stay full during school.
I'm looking for something under 300 calories since I usually eat dinner when I get home and a little bit of cereal before bed to satisfy my sweet tooth. Im considering packing a torta but I'm not sure how much calories it would have, even if it's just ham and veggies.

You are 16 just eat leftovers or a peanut butter sandwich. Stop stressing over food.

Just red up on some of your previous posts op and for someone who is 100 pounds you should not be worrying about your food and just eating all you can get.

I don't really agree with comments saying healthy eating doesn't matter at 16. Being young isn't an excuse to eat a ton of garbage. Feel free to treat yourself, yeah, but keep it mostly not junk food.
A lot of things would be fine to eat, though. Don't stress about it. A couple hundred extra calories won't make a difference.

I realize that it's all just food and that reasonable amounts of it won't hurt you and everything. I just find calling stuff "junk food" a quick way to summarize foods that generally are okay to eat in reasonable amounts, but won't necessarily benefit your health or anything, and could be detrimental to your health if eaten in excessive amounts.Last edited by Isaac30001; 03-28-2017 at 11:43 AM.
