A pair of 1080 Ti's can play most games in 4k between 70-100 FPS, assuming you have a beefy CPU to back them up. There are no current GPU's which can consistently hold 144 FPS @ 4k in modern games at max settings. Hopefully either the next Gen Nvidia cards, or Intel's new offerings (yeah, Intel is making gaming GPU's which will be out I think next year) will be able to do a better job.

PC Issues. Need Help.
Hey guys. So there is a power outage last weekend in my area due to our utility company repairing some electrical issues within our block. There was several power on and off and during those times, my desktop was on.
Didn't use my desktop until last night and only realized that its not turning on.
- I reset the cmos battery
- Changed the cmos battery in case the other one is dead
- Tested/shorted the PSU and its propertly working powering all lights, fans and pump.
- Removed, switched, reinstall RAM
Tried all the above but there's no response when I press the power on. No light, no sound, just nothing.
So I'm thinking my board could be dead? Is there something I'm missing that I can try?
If its dead, I think I can still claim for a 3 yrs warranty from MSI.Steam - jinda28

Im gaming on this system right now
i5 3570K @ 4.2Ghz
16GB DDR3 1866MhZ CL10 ram
GTX 1080 8GB
60GB SSD for OS
500GB SSD for games
2TB HDD for general ****
1x BenQ 2411z 144hz
1x BenQ 2720z 144hz
Waiting on either good deal on ryzen 2700x/ram price to drop, or just gonna hold out another 2 years for DDR5 platforms..
This still plays mostly everything i need to on max settings, but getting into 100+ FPS I'm starting to get CPU bottlenecked.Current Stats: as of 11/9/2017

You guys can pick up a cheap Xeon(for the hyper-threading) and sell the 3570k if you really want. There is a bunch more options but these are the best performance per dollar. The 3570k sell for about $80 or below on reddit hardware swap and most of these xeons are $50-$100. There are a few more in the $100 range that i removed. something to hold you over till some real massive upgrades happen

Ay guys,
Been considering to get a PC to replace my laptop. Am completely new to this and I'm following the twitch/fortnite craze. I want in. Someone want to help me out with a basic startup build (can $500-700 be sufficient for what I want? Not looking to go anything more heavier than fortnite and streaming). Prebuilt or whatever I guess. Thanks!

Didn't understand why the workstation laptop I was using was running its fan so freaking much.
Even set it to use the least amount of power while also using passive cooling. Still the fans were running loud.
Decided to open it up and try to remove the fans following the manual (these Dell Precision machines are sweet, you can dismantle the whole machine like it's a desktop, even the GPU/CPU can be removed).
The fans didn't move and I was like "what, I am following the manual". Went on youtube and saw a dude just pulling them out like no problem. "Hmm, guess I'll just have to use a little force".
They came out and the thing that had kept both fans almost glued to the heatsinks was built huge up amounts of compact dust.
Removed all the dust and now the machine is like new.
