Well I'm just thinking that 2080's are around $700-800, so if AMD's offering is similar price and performance, it doesn't give people a reason to pick Team Red over Team Green (especially with Nvidia choosing to now support FreeSync).
Do we know if there's anything resembling RTX or DLSS support from AMD's new lineup? Because if there isn't (even though these features are largely unavailable in games anyway), it's even less reason to pick AMD this go around.

Prices usually go down over time after announcement. Well unless mining becomes a thing again
There are 2080s in Amazon that go for mid $800 so AMD is still lower. But I'm sure Nvidia prices will also drop (a bit) once these cards are released as always.
I dont know about this. They really didn't elaborate on the specs and features of Radeon 7. Maybe when we get closer to February release.Last edited by jinda628; 01-09-2019 at 12:06 PM. Reason: Changed March to Feb.

I feel like AMD left us hanging again on their GPU announcement. I was expecting them to aanounce different variants.
Even the CPU feels like a tease only. Although it looks like an insult to Intel when AMD matched Intel's top i9 vs their 8c16t CPU which is probably just a Ryzen 5 which could cost $229 the most.
I wonder what will be Intel's answer to the higher Ryzen 7 and 9.Steam - jinda28

im in that boat, rx480 looking to upgrade, but this card was $250 at launch.. same as the gtx1060. People in this boat normally are not looking at a $700 card, but the next "budget" card that amd failed to announce, but nvidia has already announced with support of freesync (rtx 2060, rumors of 1160) while amd still making people wait for navi announcement in the summer.

Gives me time to put more money away I guess. I wonder if they'll launch the Threadripper chips at the same time, or if that'll be even later in the year. Maybe I should look for a deal on a 2920x.. has another 300Mhz boost over my 1920x...
Do we know how many PCI Express lanes will be offered by the Ryzen 9's? Probably still 16.. just seems like with that many cores, maybe they'd up it to 24 or something."That boulder is too large. I could lift a smaller one."

Seems moronic (for now) to have it priced at $700. They needed something special to get nvidia to fuk off

I decided to go with 2 large pumps/reservoirs with my build. Do i need them? No.. i can get away with 1 small single but it just looks so much better this way. Im gona separate the gpu's and cpu. 3 radiators in total. the cpu gets its own 360 while the gpus get a 480 and a 120. Space is getting tight o.O
As for colors, should i go with 2 colors or 1? Im thinking to go orange and green
