It seems that way - and I hope Cyberpunk won't be delayed again regardless of hardware release delays.
At the end of the day I used my 2600K Sandybridge overclocked until last Christmas. I think I'm a bit 'over' the incremental CPU upgrades we are seeing (in terms of gaming - for productivity my 3900X is fantastic), and with the new controllers coming for SSDs too I mean...we are ready for a more 'generational shift' in GPUs.
When was the last time we had them? The 980Ti release?

IF I buy a 3080Ti, it will be an MSi Gaming X Trio without a doubt. My 2080Ti GXT is just a fuking monster. Overclock extremely well and temps are suuper good. Under gaming loads with fans only set to 60% my card stays at 58-60ish C. Could get it down further easily with more fan speed, but it's already wayyyyy below any throttling point and and don't want the added fan noise.
Whether or not I buy one will probably come down to performance in CP2077. If my 2080Ti will do at least 60FPS with no dips at 3440X1440/ultra settings/rtx on I probably won't upgrade. Haven't found an RTX game yet that it won't, but I also know CP2077 is going to be a very demanding game, so we'll see.Last edited by R3L3NTL3SS; 06-11-2020 at 05:04 AM.

Went to IKEA. Bought a Skådis tool board. Mounted on my desk (Linnmon) via screw clamps.
I just grabbed an assortment of stuff to hang on it (3 boxes for different pens, usb sticks etc), but the most awesome thing was hanging my laptop dock, charger and my laptop on the board. Talk about saving desk space.

Regardless of the naming - if it sits as high as a Titan in the product stack I can only hope they lead with it. I'll get an AIO version and call it a day, then just focus on the next gen 4K monitors which I'm still waiting for...that PG32UQX for example. Yet these products keep getting announced and are kept shrouded in mystery, ugh.

Finally upgrading my 7 year old dinosaur gaming rig. It was built when I was just entering college with mid-tier parts. I mostly game on console now (Xbone-X) but decided to resurrect and revamp my old system. Will be used as an AIO emulator including Wii-U and PS3 emulation, and will also use it for any PC exclusives.
i5 4670K -> i7 4790K
GTX 760 SC -> GTX 1660 Super
8GB DDR3 -> 16GB DDR3
Still on an old 1150 motherboard and trying to do this with a relatively reasonable budget. Even modern AAA titles should run really comfortably at 1080p with these specs, and I'll probably be able to run most of my emulation at 4K.

This is probably worth a read for you - https://venturebeat.com/2018/10/15/n...st-for-twitch/
I'd imagine you could use either depending on what game you're playing, and how much it demands out of the CPU Vs. GPU. You don't have weak components so either would work, would probably be a case by case toss up as to which is ideal.
