anyone get really sore eyes just from looking at IPS screens? My brand new monitor that i've never used I can barely look at it because it hurts my eyes a lot. Compared to my 20" LG TN screen

Sorry to sound annoyed, I don't game, but I know my hardware and that's a stupid decision. You get the GTX 1170 when it comes out relatively soon. It's a no brainer.

You could have had RX 580 performance in the R9 290 for ~$200, or the R9 390 when it was on super sale. The RX 580 is one of the WORST GPU launches ever to have happened. AMD successfully was able to not move the performance needle of its own GPUs, and on top of that, provided a value that had already been available on its firesale GPUs earlier.
