But, as I said before these sites usually ask for a hefty premium for their pre built services. The great thing is all of them offer warranty, and support for their PCs, and addition to you having peace of mind that when you get it, it will be plug and play.


As for professional watercooling set up services where you give them the parts and they set it up, Idk.

Of course 7700k is is great but, your still upgrading a relatively newer system. Why wouldnt you want the 2 extra cores for the future as well as any other future advancements. cannon lake and ice lake etc

Yeah idk why they even make freesync monitors. Nobody uses AMD.

bruh i have a 3770k and Im not even upgrading for a few years. If you just want better graphics you can sell the 980ti and get a newer card. Should be sales during cyber monday.

I went from 660 to 970 to 1070 all with the same base system.

The things is... A normal SSD on SATA3 is capped very low.

The 850 Evo:
Sequential Read Speed
Up to 540 MB/sec

Sequential Write Speed
Up to 520 MB/sec

Samsung 960 Evo NVMe ssd on a budget:
Sequential Read Speed
Max 3,200 MB/sec

Sequential Write Speed
Max 1,900 MB/sec

Samsung 960 Pro:
Sequential Read Speed
Max 3,500 MB/sec

Sequential Write Speed
Max 2,100 MB/sec



Load times of everything will be shorter. The read speed of the 960 Evo is almost 6 times faster than the 850 Evo. 6 times faster reading speed.
That will be noticeable in everything you do. Boot, loading, installation, moving files, everything.

Speeds look awesome, one of the actual reasons to upgrade from my ivy bridge to get native nvme slots. I will probably upgrade in 2019 when windows 7 updates are about to end. I already got my windows 10 key saved. intel is just now making common place 6 core cpus so by then maybe going from 4 core to 8 core and sata to nvme will make a big enough difference to bother upgrading.

Thanks.....Sometimes upgrading PC is so frustrating with the "just wait a few months"........after doing research seem like next year there will be new monitors supporting HDR. Maybe ill just wait.

The Asus is IPS panel and the Acer is a VA panel. Though if you've never owned an IPS just grab the Z35 cause it can be OC'd to 120hz.

The cheapest I could find individually per monitor was $499.

A couple years ago a deal like this popped up on French Amazon for some cheap 1TB SSDs, and I ordered like 30 and they never got fulfilled.

So we'll see what happens.

Hey guys, iv been out of PC scene for a bit. i currently have I5 2500k, 8 gig of ram..or is it 16.. can't remember...and Geforce Titan X......I can still play more games at 60fps at 1080p

My question is, if i wanted to play 4k at 60fps right now, what kind of rig would i need and how much it would cost approximately? Also is 60 FPS 4k possible on 1 card yet or you still gotta go Dual card? Id like to avoid that?

You dont NEED to upgrade the motherboard/cpu.

At 4k, gaming is GPU limited. You will only see major differences between sandybridge and newer cpus in cpu limited scenarios, like 1080p gaming with lower graphics cards.
