FE's or AIB's?

Just found out my FE is a great card to undervolt. Only 1-2 fps less (on Cyberpunk) running at 50 watts less and only going up to 60 degr.

Decided it was time to finally step it up and upgrade since the last upgrade I had was a gtx 1060 on my 7yr rig with an i5-2500k. Decided to just do a full on upgrade and use my old rig now as an entertainment PC for the living room TV.

Highlights mainly:
i7-10700k

32g RAM

Well, I found a RTX 3090 at Micrcenter and picked it up, only thing is it isn't the brand I wanted as it's an MSI Gaming TRIO and I want either a Asus Strix or eVGA FTW3 Ultra

Ehh, I have a 30 day return so I'm gonna still look for the one I want and see what to do with the one I bought. If I find one within 30 days I'll just return it.

TBH there is no point of selling it on EBAY since the fees are chit and same if you sold it from another site since Paypal and other money transfers take large fees on high priced items. I'd literally have to sell it for $500 more than I bought it for just to make a few hundred dollars and for me that's a huge waste of time.

Edit: Found someone who is going to sell me a eVGA 3090 FTW3 Ultra at MSRP!

This. My CPU is fine, but my GPU is last gen good.

Plus we lost people that would interact, people that needed help with builds and people that specced everything out for them (everblue).

I saw a thread earlier today where somebody went back to console because they couldn't figure out what's compatible, smh, I mean do kids not know how to ****ing google these days? Pcpartpicker works fine last time I checked.

I managed to get an Asus TUF 3080 lined up for the weekend but we'll see if the guy comes through

Also finally snagged a 5800x and installed it in the new build. Paying a 20-30% premium on this chit, so not terrible but still significantly above MSRP

Any suggestion on aio's? I have a few in mind, but I want to hear recommendations? I'm looking to upgrade my first case from my first build, and I'm probably going to go with a 4000D airflow or p500a.

AIOs are not much better than air coolers.

Not really accurate though. Only air coolers that are going to keep up with a quality 240MM AiO are the really big, obnoxious tower coolers. AiO's look way nicer. When I had my 2700X, a 240mm AiO out performed the factory Wraith Prism (which is considered a very good OEM cooler) buy 12-18C under load with same ******t temps.

AIOs are not much better than air coolers. The best of the best AIOs (for 4-5x the price) may afford you a degree or two if everything else is on point. Realize that reviewers almost only use test benches, not usually in cases (and if in a case, it depends on the case, too) , and according to reviews afford you 2-3ish degrees Celsius. In addition, they are more expensive and offer you (for free) more complex components prone to fail.

I watched a review on coolers for the 5000, it schooled me on a few air coolers as well as aio's, I understand the issues and all that but I still want to try out an aio.

You think they’ll be something like the LG oleds in the next year or so in like the 42inch range? Love my 65inch C9 I have for ps5/series x. Have a pretty decent monitor too (27inch Asus 4k 120hz) but that OLED screen is something else
