Bulging yet muscled stomach, need help!

Hey all,

I am 16 and have been working out hard for about a year. I have a small problem, my stomach bulges out, but there is almost no fat there (when I flex my abs, I can see muscle definition) and I have several times calculated my BF% to be 12.5%. Here is my standard ab routine for every two days:
3 sets 60 Mason twists, 3 sets 20 crunches, 3 sets stomach vacuums, plus a set of leg lifts on a pull-up bar. What do I do? I hate having a bulging gut.

Do you have a curved spine? Postural issues can make it stick out. BTW, no amount of ab exercises will make any difference if the problem is simply a layer of fat.

That is possible, I do tend to slouch at times. Ya I figured that, but it's not fat, it just is round. Is it maybe something to do with I'm 16? Would it flatten itself eventually? Ok I'll post a pic a bit later.

I have now posted a few gallery pics. So the frontal shot is with flexing, and the side shot is no flexing and no sucking in my gut. (Also, I had just eaten a sandwich and two eggs)

There's nothing wrong with you ...apart from being a teen with a developing body

keep up a healthy active lifestyle, start a decent progressive programme and eat sufficient calories, proteins and fats.

Get it checked out by a doctor if it is really sticking out- could be a inflated (Non-medical term lol) stomach or something.
