I can't even with vegans. It is like they are as stubborn about eating meat as Trump is about climate change. There is no winning an argument with them.

If by arguing you mean talking past them, then you can certainly argue with vegans.

I'm a meat eater and I tend to agree with vegans (srs)

It's disgusting what we do to animals for our own personal pleasure but we might as well eat it instead of wasting it. If I don't buy chicken today, someone else is buying it or it's going to waste.

Kinda agree, and I am a vegan myself. However, its even worse to discuss with meat eaters as a vegan, I literally cant even start a discussion here without guys negging me saying things like "beta cuck". Its quite funny actually lol

IRL its completely different though. I had some interesting conversation with people, even though I almost never bring up the fact that Im vegan unless its necessary (ie they ask why I never eat meat or cheese)

Also the fact that Im a pretty fit guy helps to break the stereotype about vegans being weak and pale

Animals have suffered to put that nicely packaged meat on the grocery shelves. I'd consider a lot of hunting (at least those who are conscientious) far more ethical.
I'm not even placing animal suffering on the same level as human suffering either, I align with Peter Singer's perspective on most of this.

Lab grown meat is the path forward.

IRL its completely different though. I had some interesting conversation with people, even though I almost never bring up the fact that Im vegan unless its necessary (ie they ask why I never eat meat or cheese)

Also the fact that Im a pretty fit guy helps to break the stereotype about vegans being weak and pale

Is it morally wrong how animals are treated for food? Yes. Do I need to eat meat to maintain a healthy lifestyle? I'd say yes, no amount of soy and beans can replace a good steak or piece of chicken.
No man has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.

All the major dietetics and health organizations in the world agree that vegan and vegetarian diets are just as healthy as omnivorous diets. Here are links to what some of them have to say on the subject:

    Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics

It is the position of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics that appropriately planned vegetarian, including vegan, diets are healthful, nutritionally adequate, and may provide health benefits for the prevention and treatment of certain diseases. These diets are appropriate for all stages of the life cycle, including pregnancy, lactation, infancy, childhood, adolescence, older adulthood, and for athletes.
    Dietitians of Canada

A well planned vegan diet can meet all of these needs. It is safe and healthy for pregnant and breastfeeding women, babies, children, teens and seniors.
    The British National Health Service

With good planning and an understanding of what makes up a healthy, balanced vegan diet, you can get all the nutrients your body needs.
    The British Nutrition Foundation

A well-planned, balanced vegetarian or vegan diet can be nutritionally adequate ... Studies of UK vegetarian and vegan children have revealed that their growth and development are within the normal range.
    The Dietitians Association of Australia

Vegan diets are a type of vegetarian diet, where only plant-based foods are eaten. They differ to other vegetarian diets in that no animal products are usually consumed or used. Despite these restrictions, with good planning it is still possible to obtain all the nutrients required for good health on a vegan diet.
The United States Department of Agriculture

Vegetarian diets (see context) can meet all the recommendations for nutrients. The key is to consume a variety of foods and the right amount of foods to meet your calorie needs. Follow the food group recommendations for your age, sex, and activity level to get the right amount of food and the variety of foods needed for nutrient adequacy. Nutrients that vegetarians may need to focus on include protein, iron, calcium, zinc, and vitamin B12.
The National Health and Medical Research Council

Alternatives to animal foods include nuts, seeds, legumes, beans and tofu. For all Australians, these foods increase dietary variety and can provide a valuable, affordable source of protein and other nutrients found in meats. These foods are also particularly important for those who follow vegetarian or vegan dietary patterns. Australians following a vegetarian diet can still meet nutrient requirements if energy needs are met and the appropriate number and variety of serves from the Five Food Groups are eaten throughout the day. For those eating a vegan diet, supplementation of B12 is recommended.
    The Mayo Clinic

A well-planned vegetarian diet (see context) can meet the needs of people of all ages, including children, teenagers, and pregnant or breast-feeding women. The key is to be aware of your nutritional needs so that you plan a diet that meets them.
The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada

Vegetarian diets (see context) can provide all the nutrients you need at any age, as well as some additional health benefits.
    Harvard Medical School

Traditionally, research into vegetarianism focused mainly on potential nutritional deficiencies, but in recent years, the pendulum has swung the other way, and studies are confirming the health benefits of meat-free eating. Nowadays, plant-based eating is recognized as not only nutritionally sufficient but also as a way to reduce the risk for many chronic illnesses.

Lab grown meat is the path forward.
    Ah, I agree completely.

Should be instant, safe, quick death, etc. No packing them in small places, so on so forth.

I do have trouble justifying the killing at all - aside from the old food chain argument/over populating, etc. I don't find killing for food to be unethtical in nature, just have trouble justifying it when other food sources are available.

Of course this goes into - "well maybe the plant you eat is conscious in some form". Chit goes deep and if you want to get technical burden of proof would lay on the accuser (vegan accusing meat eater of immorality)

But for me - Eating meat is OK, so as long as it doesn't affect the environment, and that the animals didn't suffer.

This could be me coping based on my continued desire to eat it, that's why I like to hear all arguments. Still haven't been convinced to stop completely.
There is no thing without nothing.

Kinda agree with vegans on the basic that yes, it's crazy how humans treats animals. Vegans logic completely repulse me and i cannot be bothered with being vegan Though. Maybe one day if vegan food becomes good and vegans stop being so idiotic when they argue.

Couldn't care less if people choose to do something differently than me. Good for them. As long as people are consciously making decisions and not being sheep. Meaning: Don't just eat overly processed foods, or.. don't be a vegan because it's trendy. See what I'm saying?

Personally, it makes more sense and is more natural to focus on eating a lot of meat and veggies that are grown locally, ethically, and in a sustainable way. What is more organic than eating things around you that are in season and fresh? Not starting an argument or debate because I really don't care, just my view of the whole food matter.

I always see these types of comics and they're incredibly flawed for several reasons.
    1) You may have talked to hundreds of vegans and have never known that they're a vegan yet one of them might have told you they're vegan now you think all vegans tell everyone that they're vegans.
    2) You go to a restaurant with a bunch of people and order something that doesn't have meat/dairy and people start asking you why aren't you eating etc. You tell them you're vegan and now they think everyone who's vegan tells everyone (its ridiculous logic but that's the mindset most people have)
    3) Even if someone does tell someone they're vegan, why exactly do they get so bothered by it? Its due to a moral dillema they're currently having.
