Starting a new diet and work out, advice?

I am 6ft 1 and 233 lbs and 22 years old, I have decided I want to really change thathe, slim down and get lean and much fitter than I am now and also bulk up aswell.

I work at a cinema so I spend most of the day on my feet and cycle to and from work which is about a 15 minute trip there and back.

After doing a bit of research I have been trying to work out my macros and calories, so far I have:

    1940 calories

    170g protien
    121g cards
    80g fat

I am going to be training 3 days a week doing :
    Monday - chest/tris
    Wednesday - back/biceps
    Friday - Legs/Shoulders
All workouts endEd with 20 minutes walking on a gradient on the treadmill.
I will also be cycling to and from the gym which is the same distance as to and fro work.

    Any advice would be fantastic!
    Thanks in advance.

Are you a new lifter? If so that routine will only work if you use drugs, get on a novice strength program and research training frequency for novices.
There is always someone less fortunate, with real hunger, with real adversity, who made something of themselves. What is your excuse?

I'm not new to lifting, I have been lifting on and off for years, I used to listen regularly in my first 2 years of uni, but never had my diet in check unfortunately.

I'm looking to take it a little more seriously this time around.

The routines I posted are likely still appropriate, especially if your training to date has been on the kind of bodypart split you just posted. Max out your progress on one of those before moving to an intermediate routine. You'll progress faster overall.

Fair enough, will give it a shot for a few weeks and see how it goes from there. Any advice on the nutritional goals I posted?
