Just want to see your opinion on my Preworkout.
Criteria:
- No caffeine since my body doesn't react well to it
- Must have BCAAs since I workout fasted in the morning
- Added creatine so I don't have to drink it separately on workout days

The carbs in the gatorade (assuming you're not using G2) will be enough to give you energy during your workout, the BCAAs aren't all that helpful for performance anyway see https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/18974721 and http://suppversity.blogspot.com/2015...ric-oxide.html. The only things in the context of pre workout that are helpful is the CM and the carbs.

this
either choose BCAA or Gatorade and if you choose BCAA, I'd probably increase the dose...Xtend uses 7g per serving, and I believe that's a good dose
BA needs to be supplemented every day so including that is pointless unless you're supplementing on off days as well
I'd look at adding betaine and possibly agmatineNSCA CSCS

Thanks. I've been following Martin Berkhan's fasting protocol for the past couple of years and wasn't aware of the updated research on BCAAs.

I took RVA's suggestion and upped the BCAA to 7g. It's the most sour Pre I've ever drank. Going to add another teaspoon of gatorade the next time.ICF Cutting Journal - CLOSED

The only true ergogenic aid is the cit mal. Creatine and BA don't need to be taken in or around pre. BA is better taken with food.
As far as the aminos go are you cutting? Getting enough kcals in throughout the day? Working out for more than 90 minutes to 2 hours?Supplement a good diet: don't diet on supplements.

Yes. ~$1 at "researched" dosages vs premade preworkouts. I thought Preworkouts are usually more expensive than a $1 per dose?
Prejym: $1.60
Legion: $1.90
Singularity: $1.20
I train in the early morning fasted and currently cutting. I don't eat breakfast so I supplement with BCAAs until my first meal at lunch. I do double workouts meaning resistance training in the morning and yoga for cardio after. I've relied on preworkout for so long that I don't remember how my body feels to train without it.
I just take creatine with pre just because it's easier to do so than to take it later.ICF Cutting Journal - CLOSED

BA and creatine aren't dependent on timing and, as noted, BA is better with food.
If you're doing leangains/IF, BCAAs (if you're meeting your macro these are beyond pointless) have calories thus you're breaking your fast.
So basically, the only ergogenic with acute effects that needs to be taken pre is the cit.
So essentially, your pre costs ~$.40 per serving.
Just cit and gatorade is a pretty meh/10 pre."I'm pretty sure your wrong, but care to elaborate..."
