Will be getting in on this. I have a buddy who hit a 500 lb bench with 2 second pause should inform him of this lol

Hit 342 in competition w/ a few lbs left on the platform, went 3/3 on bench but it's definitely different than in the gym. Not the same bar you're used to so gotta feel out your grip on the fly, calibrated kilo plates, and all the other factors of a meet. Went 314-330-342. In hindsight, if I went something like 308-325-350 i'm pretty sure it would've been there but I can't complain. It was my first meet. Will post the vid later.
In the bench comp you put on last year I hit 315 in the gym, so still pretty pleased with 342 in competition a year later or so.Last edited by BeastinFitness; 03-28-2017 at 11:24 AM.

Watching these videos now so stand-by for the edits If your name, weight lifted, bodyweight, and video are the only things I leave in this post, it means your lift is good and I am getting ready to do the copy and paste thing to the leaderboard lol.
You forgot to show the paper during the lift. The benchpress is good, but cannot count it without the other part.
Would you prefer yoga pants or short shorts?(no homo)
Good for 255@201
I think you practiced that pause
Good for 455@236
I wish I could just hold 455 on my chest for that long and then still push it like a warm up In fact I wish I could do that with 355. Solid plug on the chiro service. You own it/work it? Or did they help you out?
Good for 100@191
How tall are you? That bar looked like it took a long ass trip to the top.
microplates are legit. The collars don't count, though.

Chiro plug, she gave me a free shirt. . Anyone want to give me free preworkout? When I hit 500 I'll give it all the credit.
As i get older I am realizing i have to get while the gettings good. I can put stats and PR's up here all day long. But, the main concepts with my workouts....
1. GO BIG OR GO HOME.
2. FORM IS EVERYTHING
3. BREATHE.

lol it is funny you say something like this. The first few competitions I tried to get it to where one of the Supp Companies would sponsor the Overall Winners or something like that(if the winners and the company agreed that the people were good fits, of course) but I could never get one to bite
I figured the Company could toss some cool stuff the OW's way for a while and the OW would rep the Company's products in some strong as fuk videos for that same time. You would be surprised just how much time I have to waste.

Thanks a lot man! Next time ill prob space the attempts out better to maximize my third attempt. 350 was def. there on this day, but i spaced my attempts pretty close together. It's kinda a game of strategy lol. Not even mad though. I was shocked at how few people hit all 3 attempts on bench. Ill pm u when they post the results. It'd be cool if this misc comp had classes like junior/open/master but theres prob not enough entries to have age groups.
