    Feel exhausted after gymming

    Hi,
I did gym for 1 month. I felt tired on daily basis, felt exhausted, sleepy and weak. I believe it's because of body weakness or lack of stamina. But this stops me from doing gym as tired body hampers my day to day activities. What should I do? How do i continue gym at the same time not feel weak?

You have to tell us more to expect any reasonable responses.

    Your height? Weight?

What does your diet look like?

What did your workout look like?

(Also, as a beginner, a certain amount of tiredness and soreness is common.)

I am 30 years old, height 6'1", weight 78kgs, little skinny above waist. I usually have vegan diet. I did workout everyday for 45 min to 1 hour which included mix of cycling, running, dumbles, cardio etc...my body became too tired after workouts n remained so whole day and this continued for a month then I quit as I wasn't able to focus in office, was sleepy mostly. What do I do to avoid this situation?

You're thin. Probably under eat. You're a vegan, so POSSIBLE low protein. Plus doing lots of cardio...

My guess, based on limited knowledge of your diet and such, is that you are not eating enough to fuel your workouts. Food is fuel. Your body cannot drive from NYC to Los Angeles on a quarter tank of gas.

What are you prepared to change to achieve a different result?

    Is your overall nutrition sufficient?

Are you slowly gaining weight month over month?

Is your training program well formulated for your goals?

Can you prioritize a short term goal for the next 6 months?

Can you come up with a one year goal?

    Make something important.

Make a plan to influence that thing.

Research what methods have been historically successful.

    Take action and implement changes.

Assess from time to time how things are going, and consider small changes to test.

Keep a training log book, review if you are progressing or not.

I get really tired as well. Sometimes even lightheaded and weak, feeling like I could pass out. This mostly happens on leg day. I'm going to try changing my diet, drinking more water, and not going so hard in the gym right away. It IS discouraging to feel weak instead of stronger. Hopefully this will diminish with time and persistence. Good luck!

You feel like this because you don't eat enough. Eating like a little bird and exercising decently, let alone intensely, is going to do you more harm than good.
