Hi all
Been a while since I posted here. Long story short....I recently started supplementing with Quadracarn (carnitine based natural test booster) and in my 3rd week.
For unrelated reasons, I had done a routine blood test 2 months back and my thyroid was within normal range. I did another test 2 days ago and everything came out excellent other than my thyroid is now 30% higher than the normal range.
However, I feel great and been eating/hitting the weights 3-4 days a week (on a summer cut currently).
I mentioned this as well to my doc (to which he gave me a raised eyebrow!)..now he wants me to do some other thyroid test even though I don't feel anything 'wrong' per say. I'm almost tempted to simply finish my bottle, then lay off it and then do another blood test in a month.
This is the 1st time in my life I've supp'ed with a test booster (not even sure if Quadracarn falls in that category or not) and so far, I've loving it. Just not sure if the elevated thyroid is to be expected or not.
Thoughts?
Thanks!

Careful what you mess with.
L-carnitine is actually used to counteract hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid) by blocking the effects of thyroid hormones. It prevents thyroid hormones (T4) and (T3) from being taken up in body cells.▪█─────█▪ Equipment Crew #53 ▪█─────█▪

Another idea you might look into for boosting testosterone levels is light therapy. Light therapy has also been found to boost thyroid levels, sometimes leading to fat loss, but the thyroid levels remain within typical range. It's easy to do and less likely to draw your doctors attention to. A little on light therapy can be read here ~

The better question that hasn't been asked is: Why are you using a "test booster" in the first place?
As was already noted above most do little to nothing to boosting actual and free test levels."I'm pretty sure your wrong, but care to elaborate..."
