Really good tasting Vanilla whey protein?

IMO a difficult flavor to get right. I know taste is subjective. But from your experience who has the best tasting vanilla with a decent profile (not loaded with excessive fats/carbs/creamers) and that's not over the top nasty sweet or artificial tasting?
I'm thinking more along the lines of a French vanilla or a vanilla milkshake/ice cream but def not vanilla bean.

Vanilla Ice Cream from Alpha Pro Nutrition is super tasty and has great macros. Its also good for cooking especially pancakes and waffles.

Gourmet Vanilla PES Select is legit. Gaspari Precision Protein Vanilla is good but a little different than most. I've also enjoyed Animal Whey Vanilla and BSN Syntha-6 Vanilla ice cream.

I see you mentioned "not a vanilla bean" but as you can see from the above posts, PEScience Select Gourmet Vanilla is still worth a try IMO it is a damn good vanilla and this is coming from a chocoholic.

It's been compared to melted Breyers vanilla ice cream, so you have an idea of the vanilla taste

BlueStar ISO-Smooth has a great vanilla. PES I hear has a great one as well. iFN Vanilla Cupcake has had some great feedback and I enjoy it a lot as well.

I suggest you try a few. Vanilla is a flavor that can very greatly between companies.

I would check out Tasty Whey vanilla, syntha-6, or pes select. All three of those protein powders taste awesome in vanilla.

That said, by far Pes Select Gourmet Vanilla and True Grit Vanilla Ice Cream are actually pretty good. Pes would be my overall favorite to use.

Not sure I've really had a protein that really nails vanilla bean. I feel like PEScience tried based on what people were saying early on, but like Driven said, it's more ice cream than anything, so I wouldn't avoid it based on any vanilla bean comparisons. Still my favorite vanilla though.

AI Sports Nutrition's Vanilla Ice Cream is satisfyingly tasty and taste like Vanilla Ice Cream. Its a nice treat for me during contest preparation right now.
BSN Syntha-6 Isolate Vanilla Ice Cream is a good tasting vanilla as well.

Everyone has different flavour preferences so some people may love a taste that someone else hates.

That being said, I am absolutely confident that Select protein gourmet vanilla is one of the best on the market.

Prior to developing the flavour, we asked our team what the absolute best vanilla proteins on the market were. We bought a tub of each and taste tested them with the ethos that we would only launch a vanilla flavour if we could beat all of them.

When we created our vanilla flavours, we sent samples of our two variations out along with servings of each competitor product. All of them were in unmarked silver packets so no taste tester knew which was ours and which wasn't (completely removing bias). The gourmet vanilla flavour we ended up launching was a clear winner.

This is why I have confidence in it. In a blind taste test it beat what a diverse group of people (our own staff as well as unaffiliated forum reps) considered the very best vanilla flavours on the market.

I am not a vanilla whey fan (I actually voted against ever launching one because it was too boring) but it is one of my favourite Select flavours.
