Hello,
I have never competed in a weightlifting competition before in my life outside of throwing the shot and discus in track. I am competing april 15th for a strongman competition. My events and weights are as listed:
Axle clean and press: 175 for reps 60 seconds
Yoke Walk: 545lbs for distance 60 seconds
13" tire deadlift: 425lbs for reps 60 seconds
Husafell Carry: 250lbs for distance 60 seconds
Stone over bar 50": 238lbs for reps 60 seconds
So my question is; What do I do during the days leading up to my competition? I obviously shouldn't lift heavy, but I should still lift right? How light? Do I stretch a lot? What should I eat? Do I rest the day before?
Thank you in advance for any advice that you give me.
