Not all powerlifters have a high body fat %. Some are actually very lean, but still their proportions are not "fitness model" look because they carry a lot of mass in legs/waist.
Some people actually care about their big 3 more than how they look, or just like to lift but don't give a fuk about how fat they carry ( just like being strong).Any post I make should not be taken seriously.

Nah that guy on left is Scott Mendelson. I remember seeing him on Rich Piana's video talking about this chit and looking awful. Most powerlifters look somewhat similarOriginally Posted by TheABCs

Because their diet is probably tragic. When I say their I mean the two guys you posted. Not every power lifter looks like that though. But diet > lifting

Because they lift for strength not aesthetics. Cutting costs muscle so getting shredded would set them back.

Because most don't give af about aesthetics. They train for strength not photoshoots. Look up Larry Wheels, he's an aesthetic powerlifter.

Powerlifting is about being strong, and many powerlifters are willing to look fatter for a bit of strength.

Current deadlift WR holder for the 198lb weight class. Would actually smoke just about any weight class in the deadlift except for the other .0001% WR holders.
