Quads - how to measure them?

I measure mine about 8" above the knee

measure them in biggest portion of the upper leg mine are the same size as little buff manshyler

im a bit confuse, cause the biggest portion of the leg would be right at the top were your leg connects to your body, would that be a good measurement or better to measure 8 inches up?

Your leg is pretty much the same from bout 5 inches above your knee all the way to where it connects with the body but yeh 8 inches up is prolly teh best to not confuse u any longerOriginally posted by hardgainer19

8" is only a few off the top of your leg. prolly more acurate than measuring your arse aswell

I measure halfway between my knee and where my thigh joins my pelvis, it's about 8 inches above the knee.

mine are 24" i measure about 8" above knee. my upper body measurements arent as good, with my chest being 39". but when i look in the mirror, it feels like my upper body is bigger then my lower body even though lower body measurements are beter. my ass measures at 40"!!!!!

my quads are around 26 inches

Measure them halfway between your knee and your hip. That is where the most growth of the leg will occurr. Your upper leg does not really get much bigger so measuring halfway will show you growth of not only your quads but your hammies too.
If you aren't measuring there, you better start - most people have upper legs that are around 22-26 inches just out of genetics and not weight-lifting.

yeh very true the middle part grows much more then upper part, that is very important when measureing actually, thank u
