    10 Workouts with the [b]NEW[/b] earthshattering preworkout QUAKE!

    I have been looking forward to Quake for a long time. I've caught a few posts by Mike about all his formations and taste tests he's done on it to get it just right. I was extremely excited to get picked to try it out for this 10 workout log.


    The Product


    What I expect I have used Xtend perform in the past. I like the uptick in endurance that you get after few days use. Huge dose of tyrosine should put me in the zone to workout. 6 grams of pure l-citrulline not a mallet combined with Arginine Nitrate should really bring the pumps.

    My workouts I have been working towards powerlifting. I have a competition this weekend. I will only have one quick workout with quake and then next week I'll be working more towards a slow cut. I want to compete this summer at 181. That's going to take some work and I don't want to lose everything I've worked for from this bulk I've been on this whole year.

    Sups AM - Quake


    Upper Body - I was lucky my sister had a membership to the gym that is running the competition so I went in for a 5am workout to test out the bench and bars.

    Initial Thoughts - 2 Scoops or a single serving I used 12oz of water. Taste was sweet. More along the lines of a Bubblicious Bubble Gum Watermelon Flavor. It has a slight fake sugar aftertaste which I always get with watermelon supplements. I wanted to try this flavor to see how I would like it. I know I'll like lemon drop. It was better than I expected. Scivation always does its flavoring well. This pre does not hit hard even at 350mgs of caffeine. The l-theanine smooths it out. So it comes on a bit slower. It took about 25 minutes before I really felt that kick in feeling. It wasn't overwhelming which is nice. Focus was on point and yeah endurance through the roof and so were the pumps.

    Thanks for getting this started so quickly! With the amount of ingredients, I too was not sure if Quake would give Xtend-like flavoring. It is going to be interesting seeing how this works for those looking for a heavy stim. Overall, it sounds like a great 5am session!

    I am upping my carb intake the next few days in preparation for the competition. I'll be eating every 2 hours this is only way I can get in enough carbs to hit 600 carb mark for the day. I'm just doing 3x body weight. Some people say 4X body weight in carbs a week before an event like this there's no stinking way I could hit that.

    I'm just hoping for progress. I shouldn't of done bent over dumbbell rows today, but those 150s were calling my name. Thankfully my lower back is feeling good and not tight. One reason I did the kettle bell swings

    I stretch before and after workouts. It was after chest. Chest activates back so I was nice and warm.

I used 12 oz of cold water. I will 12 oz of warm water than put it in the fridge for a little bit tomorrow.

    I thought it was surprisingly ungritty even though very cloudy. I mix up two scoops in 12oz of water.

    Most of the time I mix all my supps the night before so I don't have to at 4am immediately upon waking but I often forget and am mixing up my Quake with a fork in a glass. Lol

    When I mix it the night before it settles and has about 1/2 inch of sediment but a quick shake of the water bottle and it stays in suspension.

    I could never mix up a PW and leave it over night cause I might get up and decide I
    wanna use something else depending on how I feel in the morning that's why I always
    have a lot of pre's open with different caffeine amounts and different stimulant base.

    What I've been doing is just adding 1 scoop to like 4oz of water or 2 scoops to like 6oz of water... then pounding the pre. I personally don't find it to be gritty, but zero grit issue when taken like a shot haha

    Sup Thoughts I have increased volume A LOT so I'm going to have some doms. I can't really say if this is helping doms because I just changed from extremely low volume to high volume which I will slowly return to lower volume lifts. Today I ate at 9am. I lifted at 1pm so it was 4 hours after eating before I lifted. I did not eat a preworkout meal. I did try more water, 18oz today. Flavor was still strong and enjoyable.
