I was thinking of doing an 80/20 split with my taxable investments. 80% would be allocated towards VOO/VTI and 20% would be individual stocks.
All my retirement accounts are VTSAX or mirror the Dow and sp500

Doesn't Bogle say that our portfolios should be 80/20 spy/ t-bonds? Is there any point to holding t-bonds anymore? Let's be reality.

A lot of those AH trades are just recorded AH. Those dips are likely dark pool institutional/heavy hitter trades that you would never have visibility of in real time.

This.
Even with after hours trading that TDA advertised, they don't give you 24/5 access unless it's SPY, GLD, TLT and some other stuff like that.
With stocks like AAPL, you don't get to buy them until like 7AM or something. You will never get those 4AM prints.
Only way to truly trade afterhours is if you dive into futures.

For awhile I had nothing but pure equities in my retirement. I've started scaling into bonds sometime before the last rate cut and my bond fund actually has been decent. My retirement fund options are kinda dog chit...But who am I to try about it when my company matches for 100% instagainzzz
Ended up buying puts this morning for Hilton. They are getting smoked by complete lack of Chinese tourist travels + lack of hotel interest in China as a whole. Wanted to buy SPY puts too, but holding off since market was down already.Fitness connoisseur

Closed the other side of my TSLA condor today. The total actual profit is actually not whats in the pic because the call side was closed out at a loss. 215.5k in credit received from the condor, closed out the call side for 112k and the put side for a measly 58.9k so net gains from TSLA condors of 44.6k. Gonna keep watching TSLA and wait for a potential opportunity to short more premium if the implied volatility gets high enough.

Relatively new to investing. I've currently got an account with Vanguard where i'm investing for long-term( accumulation)...pretty much dump money in every month and forget about it. Thinking about doing more active trading on a free commission platform like trading 212, and aim for a monthly income from investments. So 50% of money left over each month goes into accumulation investment, and 50% into income investment(Got my eye on SPCE)...does this sound right? Any advice would be appreciated.

for any swing traders here take a look at american eagle ($AEO), over the past two months all it has been doing is rising to the high $14s-low $15s and then dips back to the low $14s. rinse and repeat
