Definitely the highest (and probably riskiest) one-day return I've ever made on a trade. I knew Adidas were going to completely smash on their earnings today. Estimates were set way too low for this quarter and completely disregarded all of the hot-bread releases they made over christmas.

I'm pretty sure you can transfer stock but really you should set her up with a trading account and give her the money and sit her down so that SHE can press the buttons and make her first trade. With that said there's a caveat that she has to get educated to some degree to get the money. She should understand the concept of the markets and how and why stocks are traded. I would keep here out of FOREX and Options. I would recommend that she start with an ETF or two and start her education with a more top down approach to understanding markets, cycles and the power of future value.Originally Posted by thetrebel

Oil is in free fall mode. I posted about it likely going towards the downside following its breakout from the tight choppish range it had been in, and in a matter of two days it's gone from $54 to $48.

XOM and MRO looking like buys though. Any company that is buying right now will be solid companies in the future at this rate. I'll probably invest heavily in May/June when the paychecks start rolling in and by then perhaps the current oil glut will be at its worst right before the summer busy season.Originally Posted by Venom08
