today... es_f down 2pts
yeah, that's not fkin normal
all of those inflation trades are doing terrible, despite the media pumping them, some of them are now negative returns YTD.
it's getting pretty serious here, i hate to be a crash caller, but i think big drops coming in SPX
I don't think anybody here is seriously interested in investing in SNAP, but taking advantage of overzealous shorts not too hard.Last edited by Slamt; 03-08-2017 at 11:46 AM.

Definitely the highest (and probably riskiest) one-day return I've ever made on a trade. I knew Adidas were going to completely smash on their earnings today. Estimates were set way too low for this quarter and completely disregarded all of the hot-bread releases they made over christmas.
Could have closed the trade out higher before market close but cashed in earlier since I was feeling a bit uneasy about market making a pullbackLast edited by QuickyBastar; 03-08-2017 at 12:49 PM.

Business leaders and people in government are starting to warn about cracks in the economy. Usually those are the people that will say full steam ahead even though the ship's already half sunk.

Anyone how I can gift stock? I know there is some gifts cards stuff out there. Anyone use that?
Sister is about to be 18, and I want to get her some stock to get her into saving money/stocks."I bet your parents taught you that you mean something, that you're here for a reason. My parents taught me a different lesson, dying in the gutter for no reason at all... They taught me the world only makes sense if you force it to."

Congrats on the trade.
I'm pretty sure you can transfer stock but really you should set her up with a trading account and give her the money and sit her down so that SHE can press the buttons and make her first trade. With that said there's a caveat that she has to get educated to some degree to get the money. She should understand the concept of the markets and how and why stocks are traded. I would keep here out of FOREX and Options. I would recommend that she start with an ETF or two and start her education with a more top down approach to understanding markets, cycles and the power of future value. My $0.02 is worth $0.03

Good advice bubah
diff want to set her up for success. Especially with her being young, she could have a nice port by 20-22. Im still poor af tho
Think ima set her up with a couple hundred bucks buy a blue chip, and get her a few books. Maybe get my parents involved and get her 1k worth of some etfs.
Just don't want to give her cash and blow it lmao sloots gona sloot"I bet your parents taught you that you mean something, that you're here for a reason. You can walk outside and listen to all kinds of talk, get told you're a god or a total bastard. The iron always kicks you the real deal. It's the great reference point, the all-knowing perspective giver. I have found it to be my greatest friend. It never freaks out on me, never runs. Friends may come and go. But 200 pounds is always 200 pounds.

Pepper your angus .... WLL ranks 2/10 on my scale .... I'd be getting NGL instead.
IMO when it comes to O&G industry then most of it is about efficiency and assets.

Oil is in free fall mode. I posted about it likely going towards the downside following its breakout from the tight choppish range it had been in, and in a matter of two days it's gone from $54 to $48.

XOM and MRO looking like buys though. Any company that is buying right now will be solid companies in the future at this rate. I'll probably invest heavily in May/June when the paychecks start rolling in and by then perhaps the current oil glut will be at its worst right before the summer busy season. feelsgoodmayne
MRO dividend potential seems legit. Buy at 15-16ish(sub $10 dip would be legit too) and sit till oil spikes higher (55-60) and the dividend comes back to 80 cents a share. Boom. automatic 5% and a chance to perhaps double your moneyLast edited by RobParks2M; 03-09-2017 at 10:28 PM.
