    Just compared to pictures I saw in google searches? Probably 18%.

    But I also read that the most accurate test reads 8% of total weight higher than the cheaper more common tests. So who knows which one was used for the pictures online.

    A more important question is whether you want to cut, bulk, or maintain, and what calorie difference is best here.

    Thanks for your reply! I am primarily interested in building muscle, but would like to cut as well unless that is not recommended for my fat percentage.

    Hard to tell from pictures alone but if I had to guess I'd say somewhere between 9-12%

    You look the same whether one says 10%, 20% or 30%... so maybe you shouldn't based it on an arbitrary number.

    Good point...so based on the pictures without any numbers, how could I go about building muscle and losing any fat that would be healthy to lose?

    Just work out under a proper novice program and eat sensibly until you have a base level of muscle and strength.

    Don't have the mindset that you're looking to build muscle and lose fat or you'll end up spinning your wheels. And no, it doesn't matter that you're not looking to become a pro bodybuilder. Nor that you're only interested in aesthetics, and not strength.

    Definitely NOT. You don't have anything to cut down to. You need to focus on lifting and building muscle by following a proper strength training program and eating a sufficient amount of protein.
    All it takes is consistency, effort, proper nutrition, good programming, and TIME.

    Don't be upset with the results you didn't get from the work you did not do.
