    Body fat percentage update

    Don’t notice a lot of difference from when I was given ~15% body fat about a month ago, but wanted to have check and pics in my profile and see if there were any changes. Lifting weight and trying to cut. Plan to stop between 10-12% and start Lena bulking. Just trying to be a bit more cautious as I move lower.

    The lower abs do look a little thinner to me/drier... I'd say you're closer to 13% or so right now... maybe 14% at the most

    Pretty close to my goal now want to try and get maybe as close to 10% as possible, as my understanding is that that is about the low end of where you should go as a natty. Need to start planning on the coming months where to go from there. Nice back in your avi by the way.

    Thanks man!

    Generally 10% is a good low threshold for most people because going lower than that you'll likely feel pretty crappy if you try and sustain it, and gaining strength and muscle get's hard if you cut below it. Plus, really, it's not going to help you in terms of appearance to almost anyone.

    Hey guys! Would appreciate your opinions of my %

    Been out of thr gym for circa 3 years due to shoulder issues. Had surgery last August and now ready to go back to the gym, can't wait! Love handles are embarrassing.... Been doing pull ups and push ups the past month to build a little strength up where I can...

    Been cutting for almost 6 months now. Figured i'm not built enough to continue cutting and starving myself lol.

    23, 6'4~ 175~lbs.

    Feel like I'm at the point where I'm getting diminished returns since i dont have much muscle mass to cut on. Opinions on cut or bulk possibly? Currently eating at 2,100~ as an estimated maintenance.

    Idk what %% but I'd go ahead and slow bulk. Plenty of time to cut again after adding 10-15 lbs of muscle. Plus added muscle makes one look better even at higher bf%

    thanks man. I still feel so chubby. The body dysmorphia has been real ever since I started this cut.. but if I look lean enough to start slow bulking after eating at maintenance for a bit then I will. Realistically, I wanted to get to like 12% atleast so I had a little bit of room to grow but im guessing im like 15% right now probably? so thats not too bad.

    You’re looking good - specially with that pump.

    I’d get more muscle and then cut but each to their own. I don’t like being too skinny - prefer skinny fat/muscular in shirt look than be a skinny ass dude like a teenager

    Muscle mass doesn't have anything to do with it: you can be fatter with more muscle.

    Feel free to wait for other's opinions... it's an open forum.

    You still look around 20% to me... could even be 21-22.

    I think you'd have to be borderline crazy to say he's in my bf class. I mean, it's not abs- obviously I'm not 15%, but you can even see my side rib cuts now.

    Crush the 19-20 dude into my 5 foot 5 frame and see if you don't call him 25 percent.

    Well, i'm sticking to what I said... you asked, I'm answering. It doesn't matter what your height is or how much muscle you have... it comes down to how much TOTAL fat and TOTAL muscle is on your body. Crushing someone down doesn't change anything; he'd just weigh less.

    If you have more muscle but have the same level of definition, it just means you weigh more overall and the fat spreads more broadly over more area.

    Again, you can be 200lb at 20% BF with a low of muscle, or you can be 150lb and 20% BF with less muscle... it's irrelevant.

    I would have guessed about 19% now coming down from 25%+ in the "before" pic. But I would add that I would personally trust Adam more than me on this. It is generally a good thing to try to go by the higher BF% estimate as most people underestimate how much fat they carry, so you are probably going to drop more than you think to see your abs anyway.

    And why come asking for an estimate if you are just going to argue with it? A second opinion is useful as we are often not good at judging our own body composition.

    Also I find it really unnecessary to comment negatively on the other guy's appearance like you are doing here.
