Hey guy’s I’ve posted here previously and just wanted to give an update. So far I’ve lost 5lbs and am currently 6’0 195lbs. I can definitely tell my face has gotten noticeably leaner as it tends to be the first place I lose fat. However abdominal area seems to be the most stubborn.

thanks. my goal body is definitely not to be huge and im looking to have a lean model type body. That being said, I still do need to put on more muscle but I figured it's best to cut down to low bodyfat (10%) before lean bulking since it is easier to bulk from a leaner state. I also don't care about looking small and actually prefer to look on the thinner side. My lifts have been improving slightly: currently 1rpm deadlift/squat/bench is 285/225/185 and slowly going up so I don't think I have to be too worried about muscle loss. Thoughts?

Holy sht bro, been there... we are unlucky but also very lucky.... Double-edged sword if you will. You are well over 20% You should lift as heavy as fuk and recomp, you'll have to be such a low weight to remove them, it doesn't honestly make sense.
I had to lose 20lbs+ to get down to 12-15% lol and then everybody thought I was anorexic, cause you get super lean in your face and upper-body but it all sticks to your hips till the bitter end.Last edited by Junsuiakai; 12-22-2020 at 12:37 AM.

I don't go to the gym anymore so above stats are useless.
Only do weighted calastentics in the comfort of my own home!

Yeah, that was my plan a week back to cut to 158-160lbs and then bulk, but now I have decided to do a recomp.
Any tips about the diet on a recomp? I know lifting wise you are supposed to progressively overload on a recomp, but what should be my calorific intake? and is the macro split the same as when you are on a cut (1g-protein/per-lbs body weight, 0.5g-fat/per-lbs body weight, rest carbs)

I would just focus on eating majority protein and the rest will fall into place. Once you build your width uptop they will appear smaller but you have to deal with them for awhile. But once you build some mass. You'll have a 6 pack at a higher bf% I see my abs at 20% lol
