21-22%. Cut down to 15% at least.
Around 12-13% Not sure what your age has to do with anything. My dad's 64 and he lifts (also he's only been lifting for a few years now).
Around 9%. For the love of all that is holy, please tell me you've stopped cutting. You have nothing left to cut.You can't help the hopeless.

@partyrocking
Just that I've gotten good results from body weight stuff and sprinting, but can't help but be curious about what would happen if I added in some big compound lifts, like squats, deadlifts, etc. The progress on the body weight moves has slowed down A LOT in the past couple months after several months of steady progress, though not sure if that's a limitation of the system or the fact that I've been in caloric deficit for six months. So, trying to figure out what to do once I start eating a normal amount again.
But given my age and that I've never lifted weights (though have done a lot of calisthenics in my youth!), not sure if it's worth the time to learn lifting and potential risk of injury. My goal(s) are just good level of fitness and, admittedly, to look good (newly single after 24 years). Maybe a compromise of body weight plus weighted vest or something... hmmm... Anyway, thanks for your estimate!

Weight lifting may not do as much for you physique wise as you have a good base already, but IMO it would contribute to a higher quality of life, especially as you age, better bone density, balance, stability etc.
You don't have to go too crazy with the weights. It's not like squatting 500lbs will make you bullet proof, but I would guess that people who can squat their own bodyweight, deadlift 1.5 times their body weight, etc will have an easier time with life physically than those who do cannot.
You appear to be doing well with what you're doing as it is, and there is something to be said about "if it ain't broke don't fix it," but I do think there are some advantages to lifting weights as well. You can't help the hopeless.

Man, can I tell you look great? You just inspired me, I'm 34 years old and know I want to continue lifting (just started 7 months ago) so that when I'll be 48 I can hope to look like you! Keep going congratulations.
Concerning weights vs bodyweight: I was doing bodyweight before then bought some equipment, and I found that progression is much easier than bodyweight, also maybe some muscles cannot be trained?

@FallingBridge - thanks man! Not wanting to go off topic with this thread, but appreciate the comments. You're a young guy, so good on you. I was in pretty good shape at your age but let myself go around age 39-40, so hang on as long as you can! If anything, know that age isn't a barrier to recapturing lost fitness, especially if you've been fit before - muscle memory is real, as I'm learning. Thanks again.

Body Fat Estimate
Hey lads, just wondering what your estimations on my body fat percentage are?
Also, based on body fat percentage, should I continue to bulk, or start to cut?
Weight: 97.6kg, or 215 pounds
Height: 185cm, or 6 foot 1
Am 18 years old.
Have posted one photo relaxed, and one flexed.
Thanks for your help.

Hmm... thanks for your response. Just didn't think there was enough muscle from the bulk to cut! Would've personally placed myself at 21%, as all body fat tests I've ever undertaken have never placed me above 19%. I have an insulin belly from being a type 1 diabetic, so it does makes me look a little bloated though.
Anyways, thanks for the reply.Last edited by T1Whiteboy; 08-18-2017 at 08:02 AM.

Looking for body fat estimate
Height: 5' 11"
Weight: 169 lbs
Age: 35
Looking for a good body fat estimate. I did a caliper test at a gym but it was way off (the trainer said it showed <8%); which is CLEARLY wrong! I used to be much more overweight (I was 225 lbs at my heaviest) but have been down in the 170s for the past ~10 years. I am focusing on cutting now in hopes of losing my love handles. I've ran for years, but only started lifting about 6 months ago. I don't have enough posts so I can't embed a picture. See photos at my body space account. . Thanks for your estimates!Last edited by Explorer11; 08-19-2017 at 09:26 PM.

Could someone give an estimate of my BF%? I have been cutting since the start of May and was wondering whether I should continue to do so. I started working out in February following Starting Strength, and had a dirty bulk, and hence the cut.
Also, my upper body seems to grow slower than my lower body. Any advice?
Thanks!

22-23% It's a bit hard to tell with those pictures. Next time, I'd take one shot directly from the front, one directly from the back, and another directly from the side (all of them relaxed).
Around 13%. Your body looks normal to me (in terms of upper body vs. lower). You can't help the hopeless.
