It appears Switch prices have gone up over here in Canada, they're now at $400 across the board as opposed to the $360-375 I saw them for everywhere a month ago... With taxes that's about $450CDN.
I saw a "mint condition, barely used" Switch on Craigslist a couple blocks from me for $310 buuuut I'm skeptical AF about buying anything of value off CL, however the thought of saving $140 is very tempting considering the fact that Switch games all cost $80CDN.

now it's almost certain that a SNES Library for Switch Online members will be coming, a trademark has been claimed for a SNES-type controller for Switch
it is expected to be announced next month when the Online Service will have it's 1 year anniversary (and many subscribers will need to extend their subscription)
nothing groundbreaking but it would be a nice addition
N64 and GC games however, these would seduce a lot of people to subscribe to the Online Service imo but rumors are limited to SNES at the moment unfortunately+++ miscin' at work crew +++

I said it before and I'll say it again - adding N64 games like Mario Tennis, Mario Golf, Star Fox, etc. is my one major wish for the future of the Switch. Nintendo needs to take a break from the low quality remakes (Mario Tennis Switch?) and stick with the game mechanics that were finely tuned and enjoyable.

hmm that's legit concern. TBH when i got it i played it every day for 5+ hours but now i rarely even get it out of the drawer and im seriously thinking to just give it to my gf permanently. I travel a lot and i still dont use it to game on it. imo biggest deal on it is 2player games on huge ass tv.

Would you guys trust someone on Craigslist who's selling the new version of the Switch, brand new in box, sealed/never opened and it comes with the receipt? This version just came out here in Canada yesterday, and with the receipt I would assume it's under store warranty or whatever...
Buying it off this guy would save me roughly $70 from buying it in the store. I wouldn't even consider it except for the fact that he claims to have the receipt...

Are you playing on normal or hard?
Hard is fine for me, I'm about a third in as well(I think) and the last few fights were challenging enough that I didnt get them the first time.
There is a third difficulty getting added for people who for some reason need it to be painstakingly hard. I dont understand that trend in gaming. At a certain point that isnt fun anymore to me.

Hard difficulty, I never feel threatened, I've always tried to get max out of every combat encounter, two attacks (first range then melee) instead of one shooting with melee. The key is to not overextend and let the enemy close the distance so that you get the first attack on nearly every enemy.

My biggest issue with the Switch is simply the fact that the games never go on sale. For PC and Xbox/PS4, there are constantly sales, just look at Steam, GMG, Humble Bundle, the PS4/Xbox stores, there are ALWAYS sales. Even on newer games you'll find sales, like I got Days Gone 30% off only a few months after it released, that's something you'd never see on Switch. With the Switch, there are still launch titles that cost $80 and they never come down, if they do it's maybe $10 off at most and that's an extremely rare case.

Vice: Project Doom coming to the NES service in 2 days
never played this before, apperantly it never came out in Europe even
and after this we should hope for something good to come to the Switch Online next release which will mark the 1 year anniversary
I received an email already about automatic extension for my subscription, where the price is mentioned (€ 19,99) which is the same as before
so let's just hope they at least give us SNES+++ miscin' at work crew +++
