Luigi's Mansion comes to mind, played that one solo so cannot comment on the experience though

River City Girls is a lotta fun in co-op but more for playing with a mate instead of GF imo

I don't play too many games but I bought the poverty Switch (Switch Lite) on Amazon the other day with a Pro Controller. Bit of an impulse buy but i'm glad I purchased it, i'm enjoying it. It does the job.

I just have to figure out which games to concentrate on lol! I feel very spoiled for choice at the moment.

I went all out and purchased a lot of the popular games such as Super Mario Odyssey, Zelda: BOTW, Smash Bros, Dead Cells, Bloodstained:ROTN, Hollow Knight, Skyrim and Stardew Valley. Might think about looking into Animal Crossing as I've never played one before, but i'm intrigued.

I haven't played a Zelda since Windwaker, I absolutely loved Majoras Mask, OOT and Windwaker and I'm hoping that BOTW can be just as enjoyable for me as back in the day as a kid. It seems kinda overwhelmingly big though. Maybe that's just me getting older and not being a huge gamer.

My god, Hollow Knight so far has been incredible!

Yes, that is very true. Between work, other hobbies and family I won't have much time to finish them for sure! I think this will last me for the next few years though. I'll happily put in a few hours here and there.

Fair question. I looked up some reviews on the Switch Lite itself and of the YouTube reviews I watched, most of them made a suggestion that the Pro Controller would be more comfortable to use, and I would agree with that.

Also, I bought Streets of Rage 4 on Steam last week, and finding out that that the Pro Controller works with a lot of Steam games, I thought it would be ideal to play a classic using a controller!

so you put the Lite on the table and play with the controller then, that doesn't seem too convenient to me but to each their own lol

I only play docked with a Pro Controller, so I would've prefered a standard home console instead of what the Switch turned out but nothing I can do about it lmfao

if you can use the controller for other games (Steam) as well that would be nice for you, it really is an awesome controller with an insane battery life

hopefully you didnt buy pokemon yet, the game's graphics are really bad. looks like a 3ds game ported over to switch. and no voice acting, which wouldn't be a problem normally, but the character's mouths move during the speech bubbles and no words come out, so it's awkward as fuk to watch.

anyways just bought a 499 switch bundle from gamestop. was like the only place that got stock. switch is impossible to find otherwise.

i did get the game, and it was honestly trash. maybe im just too old for pokemon, but i like the old school games better

the awkward control schemes and the emphasis on turbo/drift linking kinda ruins it for me tbh

too bad since the concept of the overworld, objective oriented races and boss races is pretty neat

1. I'm not sure I like or care about those removable controllers and I don't care about TV docking. It seems like the switch lite, also being the newer piece of hardware and with more sturdy built in controls would be better for me?

2. I'm in the Caribbean so I don't know how regions work in the Nintendo online store. Let's say I have a credit card with a Caribbean address but I want access to games from the American store, is that possible and how?

I believe the switch store isn’t region locked but not 100% sure. Unless you have tiny hands, the switch sucks in handlheld mode. I can’t play more than 10 min without getting cramps. I would imagine switch lite is even worse. In comparison my 3ds xl is much more comfortable.

yeah playing handheld sucks for me too, always play docked

I do believe the lite buttons are the same size than those of the regular Switch (?), screen is smaller though

Have a swith lite, it's great an feels much firmer than the OG switch.

Switch games on a big screen having subpar graphics anyway too.
