seem to have missed the DLC announcement for Horizon Chase Turbo last week, luckily I stumbled upon it today when I started the game on my Switch lol

I have over 45 hours in this gem, 100% completed

so it was a no brainer to get this, only 2 bucks for 12 remixed tracks and a new car, NICE

just finished the Summer Vibes DLC for Horizon Chase Turbo

gotta give credit to the developers for the originality in the cars

in the main game they already got me laughing out loud with this unlockable car for example

and in the DLC there's also some good stuff

you start with an obvious wink to the OutRun-series (except the blonde is driving now)




and as you win races you unlock other skins, and there is some funny stuff there lmfao

LOL @ the Ferris Bueller's Day Off skin. That alone is almost worth buying the game.

Also, been playing MUA3. Not sure if I like the game or not, but I keep playing. Can't play it longer than 30 min at a time though (due to arm injury).

Didn't know Divinity was on switch. Played it for a bit, but was getting wrecked on 360. Was fun from what I remember, but hard as fuk. Maybe I just didn't know wtdf I was doing.

Next RPG will likely de DQXI though.

Anyone got thoughts on Dragon Quest vs Fire Emblem 3 Houses?

Usually not a big RPG guy, but I did like FF7/exploration/Total War games. I know Fire Emblem is not a traditional RPG, but it has some Total War elements which are intriguing. I barely started the DQ demo, but I like it so far.

Dragon Quest XIS, there is a demo so check that out, but if you like jrpgs, this one has been really great so far. I'm a newbie to Dragon Quest games, I've had VIII on my 3ds for awhile but never got too much into it. Been loving 11 so far

pre-ordered The Witcher 3, never got around to playing it on Xbone but will get it on Switch

mostly curious to see how they were able to bring in to Switch in the first place, apparently it's a quite impressive port considering the hardware it runs on

finishing it will probably be put on hold once Luigi's Mansion 3, Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz and Pokemon Sword arrive though since apperantly 50+ hours are needed for main story alone, without extras and the DLCs (which are included)

Based on reviews I may get Witcher 3. I have it on PC, but hardly played it. I just don’t have time to PC game. Being able to play on my Switch in a hotel or in my bed is highly appealing.

Is the super monkey ball a port of the old wii game or what? Or is it a new installment? First time hearing of one coming to switch? 1 and 2 (the one with ad added story?) I had for GameCube and liked them both.

I played and completed Witcher 3 along with all the DLC on Xbone. I plan on picking up the Switch port as well. Great game. Took a couple of hours of playing it before I was hooked. Starts out kind of slow, but then once you understand how you want to build your character, there's a lot of fun to be had.

Hopefully we will see some Black Friday deals for these new Switch games. Would love to see another Walmart screw up again like they did last year with Diablo 3 and Doom.

I started looking through my games last night and I would say that I have to agree to this. I have such a backlog. I have 54 games installed on my Switch and have really only played a portion of them.

yeah I also cancelled my pre-order since my backlog is getting bigger, might get it next year if there is a calmer release scedule lol

- currently playing Lego City Undercover
- haven't got around to playing Lego Jurassic World, Blossom Tales, Ittle Dew 2, Darksiders and Crash Team Racing
- Super Monkey Ball, Luig's Mansion and Pokemon are all here within 1 month

compare this to the drought on WiiU, insane

I had the same issue. Key is to sit down with the belief that you are there to enjoy and finish the game otherwise they will collect dust. It does seem like your most enjoyable games are RPGs, does that seem right?

Yeah, I am pretty much into RPG's.

I approach all my games as if I am going to sit down and finish them. Then I browse the Sales on the eShop and just have to buy a game because it's on-sale. It's a never-ending nightmare.

I hear you. I get GAS (game acquisition syndrome) too. Like I said I now force myself to focus on 2-3 games maximum and really try to beat the game before moving on.

It’s particularly bad for Switch because I see the Switch as less of a time waster compared to other consoles/PC gaming. I.e. I only play Switch when I’m traveling, taking a dump, before bed, etc. so it doesn’t feel like I’m wasting my life as much by playing it as I’m already doing something productive. If I play PS4 I physically have to sit on my couch at home and play - this really feels unproductive. I don’t feel as bad buying a new Switch game because, “man a good RPG sounds fun after a long day of hiking.” Hopefully that makes sense.

I have Smash Ultimate. I bought it, played it for 2 hours and got side-tracked. That is one game that I want to invest time into. Terraria has been a nice distraction. My favorite game for the Xbone was 7 Days to Die. I love the concept, therefore I am a sucker for any game that kind of mimics that feel. For now, Terraria kind of fills that void.
