I stopped caring about the game boxes although I gotta hand it to Nintendo for their box art both inside and outside, front and back. I just care about the game itself.

Got this for my switch collection .

It’s easier and it’s compact . Easy to store away.

I just can’t bring myself to keep switch games in storage boxes or on shelf with blu rays. No reason to flaunt them. Those who do are clearly better men then I. And in great physical shape.

I have thrown away hundreds of cases and boxes for video games through the years. I regret doing that as I got into collecting video games as a hobby several years back. A video game that has its original box or case is almost double the price for a loose game itself.

I understand not wanting to keep the case. Many people throw them out. But again as a collector it doesn't make sense.

switch is pretty tight. BoTW is great so far, and I don't tend to favor open worlds as much. Graphics are tight and mechanics are very engaging

Feels i'd get when I was a kid related to entertainment and exploration has been revived with the switch, BoTW, Odyssey. BoTW is so fuking amazing. I never really spent time playing until 3 AM in PS4 games but it's a different story with Nintendo. Their games are true quality

So far it's... alright. I am not a fan of the huge help they're putting out in these games now.

BRB every Pokemon in your team, even if they didn't battle, gets exp
BRB as a kid it was fun to find what types are more effective than others, here it let's you know

How was the WiiU version? Bowsers fury looks dope though not gonna lie.

Still on Odyssey, but about to beat it. After that I plan to get more Mario games.

Cant describe how much i love the switch. Havent gamed since gamecube.
Everything so much fun. The only thing i kinda grew out of/ got a bit bored of was smash bros and kart. For some reason they were so much better on the cube.

I have both pc and switch version of stardew valley, I like handheld mode playing it over pc monitor. SV graphics are simple. it's made for handheld.

Recently got a really hard game with simple graphics like stardew which works well with handheld imo

It's called Terraria. I too have this game on PC, but it's more enjoyable on handheld, for me at least.

I get distracted easily when gaming on my pc, I want to multitask(misc. websurf. play media players, stream music etc. With my switch lite, I'm forced to focus on only the game as a singular unit. No distractions. With pc, I have the option to turn off in game music and replace it with youtube music or something like that. With my switch, I'm forced to get the whole game experience as there is no way to multitask with the unit

What bout' the gameplay boyo? I like how it looks but it just looks like youre out there walking and cutting crops lol

Some people I work with play it on the reg. It's $15 too so its not a big deal but i at least wanna enjoy it throughout

Stardew Valley is a strange game for me. You basically do the same routine everyday while branching out and accomplishing other tasks to further your mission. What I mean is that every morning you tend to your crops and animals. This is what gets you money. After those 'chores' you are free to go mining, fishing, or finding the secrets of Stardew Valley (there is a main point to the game).

Things to do in Stardew Valley:
Plant crops for money.
Upgrade your farm buildings and house.
Go through all levels of the mine to 'level up' and gain ores to sell or donate to the museum.
Interact with the townspeople (try to get married).
Get married and have kids.
Go fishing and try to collect all the rare fish.
Find the 'secrets' of Stardew Valley (there are a couple of quest lines to accomplish).
Visit the town's festivals at different times of the year.

It's the daily routine that is simple but yet so addicting. I constantly find myself saying "one more day". Before you know it, you have played for hours. It's a very laid back and relaxing type of game with a solid gameplay.

There really is more to the game than just planting crops. I can understand for some how they couldn't get into it. I was the same way until I got a bit further into the game and I was hooked. I have played through two different game saves and still go back to it from time to time. Money well spent IMO.

Unfortunately I missed out on that, And much of the WiiU library.

I absolutely loved GameCube, and they got it right with switch IMO. The Wii was tight for the time but I believe Switch is So much greater. But they did say they would need to make an upgraded version to keep up With the ever evolving tech.

It’s why I’m not buying a regular switch as of yet, again. (I have a switch lite only btw).

If there’s going to be a switch 2 then I’d rather wait for that. Although I am considering trading my PS4 pro toward a regular switch when I finally find a ps5.

I assume the game is rated for everybody, but how do they handle the having kids thing? Wondering if my daughter is okay to play through that, I assume so.

My daughter her stepsister, and stepbrother has stardew valley. I think there are gay couples or to be politically correct, same sex life partners in the game ... who can have kids. She’s not huge into playing games though. Her sibs are the gamers but aren’t allowed to do m-rated games as of yet.
