Need a new switch game something to keep me engaged. Got bored or animal crossing, beat Pokémon in a few days, BOTW/Mario games beat along time ago.
What do you guys recommend?

same here. Only time I play handheld is in Mario Maker 2 sometimes when trying to make a level (I suck at it).
I was addicted to Animal Crossing for the first 2-3 week. once I realized the animals teleport around the island, it made building bridges and other stuff feel kinda pointless so I lost interest. Mario maker 2 is a lot of fun. I played someone's world they made in the SNES style Mario and they made it like real Mario game.-best poster of 2017 (haters are jealous as fuk lol ya'll can't see me i stay crispy)

Look into a satisfye grip for the switch, case too if you get it -- totally changed the way I play mine. I used to loath handheld with the Switch, never touched it because of that (I hardly have time to play on the couch/TV these days). Got that and it changed everything, it's also great to play handheld but then when you do got a moment, just slap it in to the TV to play as well, as it was intended to be used.
Strongly recommend. I also use grips for my 3DSXL, it would bother me after awhile too.
Next time my daughter fuks up, I'll ground her Switch Lite to see how it plays. I made her purchase a Satisfye grip for it, too. Looks pretty comfy. All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

i found streets of rag 4 to be kinda disappointing too. it was just ok. didn't have enough going for it to me. it needed a feature where you can switch the entire game's look to retro style if you wanted to, not just a few sprites. that would have taken the game from ok to "great" status.

Finally joining the crew this week. Got a Switch on ebay (outbid someone at the very last second lmfaoooo) with 2 sets of joycons (neon red + blue & pink + green), along with smash + mario kart all for like $100 less than buying everything new, and once BotW is back in stock that will be delivered on Thursday through amazon. Gonna get Episode 1 racer too for that nostalgia hit.
Reps all around cuz I've been trying to get one of these forever.Misc photography crew

If I enjoyed Fire Emblem: Awakening will I like Three Houses?
Awakening had characters like Vaike, Frederick and Owain that were alpha male warrior types. I haven't seen anyone in Three Houses who fits that description. they all look either emo as fuk, young as fuk, or gay as fuk.-best poster of 2017 (haters are jealous as fuk lol ya'll can't see me i stay crispy)

The school stuff killed the tempo & the feeling I had to progress in this game for me.
Battle after battle with some story & inventory checks is great. Like every Fire Emblem up until 3 Houses.
But in 3 Houses you need to eat with your students, sing with them, bring them lost items, ... between battles, and dunno, it felt like filler-episodes of an anime to me.
Leaving on a holiday in 2 weeks myself and need to load up my own Switch with some games before I leave. Thinking of Baldurs Gate Remakes (1+2), appearantly the controls are good on Switch. Anyone got experience with that?

If anyone is looking to get one get the HotStock app and setup the alerts. Best Buy is almost impossible even if you try to buy right after the alert but I managed to get the GameStop bundle with Zelda, animal crossing, Minecraft and a pro controller. Got it for my daughters bday in September so now I have to wait. Picked up super Mario odyssey as well, she’s going to be pumped.

Did not read entire thread, anyone happen to have the controller drift problem on their Switch? It drives my kids insane.
Even bought two USB corded playstation looking controllers apparently made by Nintendo, no fix. Updated firmware on main unit and remotes. Calibrated every controller. Drifts when controllers connected to the sides, or remote on the TV.
I think the damn Switch is defective. Sucks because they are like 500$ now if you can even get ahold of them.445/340/545

Google WD 40 and joycon, get the electric contact cleaner. I did this and it has helped some, but still does it. I'll probably swap out the stick @ some point, but hesitant right now b/c if I screw it up, buying a new set is a PITA right now.

Switch is pretty stellar IMO, but the sticks on these joycon just suck.
