Smile When to eat vegetables and fruits ? Pre or post workout ?

    Hello bodybuilders,

Can someone explaine me why many people tell that eating fruits in the pre-workout meal is good and eating vegetables in the post-workout meal is good ?

    Thank you.

Eat them whenever you like, it does not matter.

There are some articles and topics that say you must eat fruits in pre-workout meals and vegetables in post-workout meals and I am confused...

    Those articles are wrong.

In short- eat whenever you want.

Protip OP: No one on here is a "bodybuilder".

Stop thinking of food in terms of "good" and "bad".

You don't HAVE to eat them at a specific period of times, but eating fruits and veggies before a workout generally gives a better workout than on an empty stomach on on junk food. I would presume it's because they are complex carbohydrates so they provide a constant energy source.

Really it depends on you and how you react to it. I get sick if I eat anything and work out after. Try eating them before AND after to see which works better for you.
