I like the footplate on the 70, just wish it was farther out. I might let that one go depending on the adjustable incline.

Nice pick ups. Got my GHYP345 about a month ago - great piece. You'll love it.

Wish it had a bit wider footplate but that's my only complaint. Super stable - much better than my BodySolid Dip rack which I also like.

Couldn't pass on a half price Cap OB-89HB from Amazon warehouse. I'll use it for carries and an overhead press accessory. A rackable bar would be cool, but I can't really justify the cost vs the utility, so this fit the bill.

replaced the bar i got with the lat pulldown with some MAGs. middle is the medium grip supinate, bottom is the wide grip. Those MAGs feel so much better than anything else.

ok so im completely new to the home gym movement so I do apologize for my rookie post ahead of time. Where are you finding this equipment? I'm looking for a quality power rack, bench, bar, and weights and I'm not finding anything within 4 hours or so worth a dang that is not priced almost new. Any advice would be MUCH appreciated.

Most people are finding their used equipment on sites like Craigslist, Kijiji, Offerup/Letgo apps, and ******** Marketplace. Others also pay visits to used equipment stores like Play It Again Sports. It all really depends on your location and what's available.

Where are you located?

Also, depending on your budget, you could get a great setup brand new that would last you for a very long time (or at least until you'd be ready to upgrade).

thank you for your response...I am in Columbia SC I guess i need to look into let go, offerup, kijiji, and ill just keep looking my budget is no where near as nice as some of the ones ive spent the last 2 hours drooling over and I am NOWHERE near as advanced as Y'all. I am only benching 225 and DL almost 300. I just got back into the gym middle of last year after being out for several years due to major back injury. I'm comfortable around 1,000 but mainly want the quality that is good and something I can grow into as I am working diligently to build back all that I have lost. I have been reading the forums but never post due being straight noob. guess ill have to start getting more involved as Yall are walking encyclopedias.

Being an hour and a half out from Charlotte, you are within driving distance to all sorts of equipment, and nice equipment at that.
I'm used to driving 3 hours each way if I want anything worth noting.

yea i have not looked at the charlotte market....my epic fail! i guess as soon as I get off this bogus work internet that you have to backdoor into internet they did successfully block craigslist. I typically live in a car at work so a 3 hour drive is nothing especially if i am finally getting what I want by getting some time back in my life while still getting my workouts in. I am trying to learn which equipment is good whats a ripoff and what is way beyond my needs. I am slowly getting there. Now to find some stuff and go get it while the wife is at work and just go surprise.....and oops at the same time

I love close to Charlotte now, and was close enough to watch it before I moved. Patience, but move FAST if you spot something. There are several resellers who will grab a good deal and put it up for double the next day.

Nice!! That leaves you plenty for a nice barbell and a decent flat bench (if you buy new). Check out the Cheapo Thread for suggestions, or just keep holding out for some more deals to pop up

Keys Fitness is very good consumer equipment. It's on par with Tuff Stuff and Body Solid IMO.

If you have the cash (or only have to save a bit more), I would go for the Rogue bar. They make great stuff at good prices. There are a lot of options for which bar to get, but the Ohio Power Bar is popular around here. Only $250 for the 45-lb bare steel bar.

Grab a Rogue bar. The OB86b is priced pretty high right now. I picked one up when they were on sale for ~$100. That's about the only time I could justify buying one.
