Man We need to see some pics of your gym, I can assume it's HUUUGE and probably very nice!
Thanks man!
Thanks, I tried. Lol
Thank God my parents let me use 95% of the basement. lmao
LOL
The FT's are an awesome piece to have and are being talked about like they're the "new thing". That sucks you couldn't pick one up like mine, after I bought new ends caps and hole plugs, as well as wiped it down it looks like new. I might replace the cables as there's some frailing in the coating. But other than this problem I can say the machine is "smooth as butter", I can say it does feel slightly smoother than my Freemotion....or maybe I just like the CC more. IDK

Latest addition
With this T-Bar Row, the only item left on my short list is a selectorized preacher curl machine.

Just love your space, one of my all time favorites and best use of space. Always impressed with what you have done, thanks for the update
Thanks for the reply, i just thinking yesterday when i noticed who identified some generic bench in 2 seconds, how good it is your back. Love the new gear.
That cybex looks awesome, its not commercial, its heavy heavy commercial stuff! Lol how big are the stacks? Its 2/1 im assuming, just a tank built piece! I think i would actually make a short connector functional trainer width (save original for resale) then the FM is for wider and the cybex covers closer spaced pressing and other FT work. Be very very easy to make
I really like the FM FT's, but the fixed arm isnt ideal fir most gyms. You have tons of space and even more equipment, you are just adding Some variety, and can flip it anytime. For someone adding this to a tight gym and not going to be adding much eise, i think its too limiting.

Just a quick update on these Urethane 10s I purchased. They scratched my chrome sleeves pretty bad. It's very strange. I have an AB hard chromed oly bar that I slide Rogue's competition bumpers on all the time which has resulted in no scratches at all. Not the case with the urethane ones. The metal hub on the urethane bumpers seemed fine (smooth) but i discovered it has a small lip on the edge of the hub that is quite sharp. Bummer. I'll sand it down a bit, but my poor bar.. lol. Not a huge deal, but just an FYI.

You need a good rack, a bench, and a 300-lb Olympic weight set. Now, what was your question?

It is actually not rolled flooring. It is the puzzle piece variety but works very well for my needs. The project started out small and in short order grew from a small portion of one garage bay to filing all three.
To say that I am happy with the results would be a gross understatement.
Thank you for all the kind comments.

Interesting Malve, just assumed like most that you had rolled rubber. I have seen it going back several years and its always been in my top inspiration gyms 5 here. Can you tell me anything about the puzzle flooring? We hear so much bad about it and i know rolled rubber is superior, but im windering if theres higher grade puzzle that may be better then what i have seen.
I have rolled rubber under almost all mu equipment but exposed concrete everywhere else in basement. I really dont see mysekf ever moving everything and putting diwn entire new floor. Would be nice if there was a decent puzzle mat i could used between everything akready floored.

My FT is single stacked and 150lbs max stack.
Thanks! I've been around many benches cheap-heavy duty commercial, I identify and cross my fingers to hope it's the right bench I'm assumming. It wasn't soooo heavy, especially when all the internals are removed, lol. They are each 150lb Stacks, Im still not too knowledgeable about the resistance ratios to tell you which one this is, I mean I know what they are, but I can't just look at a machine and tell you "yep this is a 2:1". The shortening of a connector piece is a good idea, but I'm not too bothersome as most of the length of the machine is towards the rafters. I do completely agree with you on the fixed arms of the FT. I'm really not looking to add much more to my home gym in terms of pieces of equipment, I want a hammer strength v squat, and a reverse hyper.
