Nice score! I'm curious as to what appears to be an additional set of narrow chrome pegs in the middle of the seated row are? (The ones in the middle in front of the seat and chest pads between the actual arm horns).

Edit: Just found out they are chrome foot pegs, cool touch!

Picked up these two curl bars. 1 is a GP Bar, it matches my GP Olympic bar I recently got. Am Very happy with it. The other I don't really know what brand it is, I'm assuming Power Systems, because of the internal bearing design and black rubber end tips. Does anyone know the brand of this shorter curl bar with bearings?

TBH I was wondering the same thing until I googled a video of someone using it. It's very nice to have dual pairs of them, it's very comfortable to have feet on both pegs (even though they barely cover both pegs).

    1) if there not made as narrow as pissible they are harder to stnabilize and it can limit the amount of weight you use.
    2) the cage itself hits your body. Rarely will your wrosts be 100% perpendicular to your chect for example, so the slight tilt makes the Edge of the cage angled closer to you limit range of motion. The cage getting in the way is more obviouse a reason in overhead presses and rows. I wentvt grip fir my last one because eliminating the center section cage seemed the best so,ution. It dies a great job, the only downfall is that there are only two grips. Usually i only use the wider two on a three grip bar so i wasnt concerned. Reality is it feels like the narrower is a bit narrower then ideal and the wider a bit too wide on some movements. Its a great bar, i dont regret buying, but would still consider the EFT canber bar if it revieews well.
Wiuld lve to know when you get some miles on it
Does the cage width itself feel too wide, or is it ore along the lines of the newer narrower ones from edge and ithers?
Does the camber offset any loss of range fro the cage?
I know there was a deal on that bar, was it specificslly that bar only or a site wude sale from Elite?
Thanks, enjoy it, i am interested in your thoughts

Hardgains, do you plan on writing up a review of the T-grip bar in the future? I see you’ve touched on a few points. I’ve been on the fence with this bar the past 6 months, but the lack of reviews haven’t pushed me enough to make the purchase.

Picked this up Thursday. It came from an old powerlifter used to train with Ken Patera and the Road Warriors back in the 80's. Supposedly, they used this bar.
15 Mins with some Simple Green, a stainless wire brush and 3&1 oil, and it's like 90% new. The only thing not is the knurling is worn in the J cup area, which is A ok with me. Where the knurling in intact is insane.
Think I'll be trading/selling my modern one soon.

Got a GHYP345 for $60 CAD just now. This is my second one.

It's not in perfect shape, but its good enough to use. Could be a nice candidate for a little refurb project in the future, or I could flip it for 2x or 3x what I paid.

I've missed doing hypers since I sold my (too tall for my garage) GHR a while back.
After seeing these hypers mentioned on the forum so often lately, I made an offer on a new one to an Ebay seller. (I have to admit it was a very strange feeling buying new.)

So here is my first piece of brand new equipment in forever.

After seeing these hypers mentioned on the forum so often lately, I made an offer on a new one to an Ebay seller. (I have to admit it was a very strange feeling buying new.)

So here is my first piece of brand new equipment in forever.

I realize everyone's different but i prefer my 45 degree hyper over the 2 GHD's I've had. That's a solid one , even if you did buy new .

Sometimes you have to pay new if you want a certain something, now, lol. I'm sure that you bargained with the seller (if that was possible ;o))

The only thing nicer than vintage equipment is knowing the history behind it. Congtrats, repped.

Had to bargain and it worked out. That being said, if my daughter used my GHD, it would still be here. Sounds like life is good in the Tar Heel state. Glad to hear it.

Cool story on the bar. Makes it a nice pick up. Never met Ken Patera but knew an old OL coach we had lifted/trained with him. Said he was insane.

Congrats on the pickup, I use mine at least 2-3 times a week to strength the lower back and hamstrings. No complaints from me and like others I would take it over a GHD, it's solid and comfortable to use.

I agree with Urban. I love mine as I use it every morning and night to stretch as well as back day. I should have bought one years ago. Congrats

Nice old school barbell with a lot of history if those wrestlers indeed lifted with it, badass find!

That knurling is over the top. IMO, if you have to wear gloves to keep from shredding your hands, it's a bit too much lol
