GHYP345 arrived, little banged up but at least the pads in in good shape. Puts the Titan unit to shame, here are a couple side by side shots. The footplate on the Titan is HUGE, but the extra height actually forces you into a 35° angle and it doesn't feel near as good as the Body Solid. Wedged a piece of steel between the pads of the Titan for a quick sale, few tweaks and it would be decent.

Nice side by side. Someone didn't care how fast they bent those legs.

Bodysolid is a nice unit. I think I'm going to buy one of those.

You need a good rack, a bench, and a 300-lb Olympic weight set. Now, what was your question?

Good luck, that's the best price I have seen on a new GHYP345! My only gripe, or desire really, is that there was ONE more setting below the lowest height. @ a little under 5'9" it's still 100% functional, but I feel like if the pads were a hair lower it would really isolate the hamstrings even more.
@Attyguy, that one was a miss but I'm giving them another chance with the db stand. Hopefully it will work well with my little Classic 45lbers!▪█─────█▪ Equipment Crew #58 ▪█─────█▪

There were a few issues. First and most important the tabs they used to support the pads are prone to bending, they deformed easily after 3-4 bodyweight reps. The handles didn't attach (had to drill them out), the pads are below what I would consider acceptable, and the center knob is not heavy duty enough to keep the pads from shifting. Also, after fixing it up I noticed that due to the oversized footplate it forces you into a position beyond 45 degrees, which is not what I'm looking for in a hyperextension.

Couple Titan 3" wall mount strips and 3x3 plate holders. Had the bottom one already and got the top one now. Still working on the basement renovation.

That is interesting as I'm in that SSB boat ..How does the Duffalo bar help? When I have to bring my shoulders back to grab a straight bar,my shoulders don't like it.Wouldn't it be the same on the Duffalo? I just got the SSB and I really like it but the Duffalo bar intrigues me..They are not cheap though.

Hi Everyone, just a quick update to my original post on Pg 64; post 1898 (I think). — I got it! That’s the bottom line...Power Lift GHD for $400. Just picked up this afternoon. Crazy story, but that handsome guy is now sitting in the garage! Thanks to everyone for words of wisdom & feedback. Attached are some pics. Y’all have a great weekend!

The curvature of the bar allows you to grip it significantly lower than a standard Olympic bar. You don’t have to reach as far up and back as you ordinarily would. My shoulder issue was a bone spur and bursitis. Particularly as a low bar squatter this put my shoulders in a painful position. I can squat pain free with the Duffalo bar. I also switched to a multi-grip/Swiss bar for benching and pressing which helped tremendously.

Thanks to Urban, Irongrandpa and a few others I finally ordered a Bodysolid 45 degree hyper. Will be here Thursday. Got tired of waiting on a deal that should have been done in Oct and my back has been super sore lately so looking forward to it.
Thanks to Bench905 I ordered 44lbs Magnetic hooks to hang my lat attachments from my lat machine. I originally envisioned a wall solution and might still do that but this gets everything off the floor and it's all mounted right on the machine I use them on. These came today and I just hung everything. Very economical 2 packs at $11 each.
I'll post updated pics after the 45 is set up and I rearrange a few things. My gym is basically done now (exempting a potential functional trainer someday). Will see if everything case stay (GHD is prime candidate for exit as is extra plate tree) and will move to hanging my Ironmind posters and a big American flag with acoustic foam behind it on the ceiling.▪█─────█▪ Rogue Barbell Crew #27 ▪█─────█▪

Can't post links or images, spaced out the link.
Traded in all my old weight plates that I had when I first started building my gym at Play It Again Sports. They gave me $.33/lb which isn't great. Only reason I did it was to get those rubber encased VTX grip plates at $1/lb. to match the rest of my metal VTX grip plates I just purchased. Unfortunately someone already picked up the 10s and 25s. Oh well, added 4 45's to my set, now totaling 16 matching 45s in my small collection.
