Nice pickup. Can't get better than free.

I am jealous. Those are rare around here. I've been looking for a sissy squat for years. I saw one listed on CL a few years ago, but it sold before I could get to it.

Agreed, the only sissy squats I've seen around here are high end commercial pieces

I'm interested in what your thoughts about this piece after using it some. I've been considering building one but I haven't heard that much about them.

I had a Legend sissy squat, but sold it. It had adjustment on the calf pad only. Poor adjustment design for multiple size users.

The Pro-Elite has adjustment on the roller pads. Better adjustment design, but still not perfect.

If you build one, do it right and make it where it has adjustments on both pad sections.

It looks like Tom Kinney is in the design process of building an angled sissy squat.

    This is easy for me.

I've never tried taking it to this extreme.

I saw this on CL today and got it for $40. I initially intended to just take the handles off and use them for another project and then junk the bar, but after I went and looked at it and loaded it in my truck I...I like it too much to dismantle it .

While I was there I picked up this heavy duty gripper for $5.

And something I haven't seen before...a plate loaded pincher...couldn't pass it up for $5 (even came with several pounds of standard plates).

I also picked up a couple sets of fractional plates for $10. Will I ever NEED them? Maybe not, but they'll certainly look ten dollars worth of cool in my gym .

I received my first shipment of new equipment I am purchasing in my gym upgrade. I purchased Prime Fitness' Ro-T8 handles, Ro-T8 Landmine Attachment, Ro-T8 Long and Short bar attachments. I also purchased their Squat Wedge Pro Pack. This Pro Pack consists of 6 steel wedge plates starting at 5 degrees and going up to 30 degrees in incline, with a 5 degree increase in each wedge plate. It also included a very heavy duty steel cart to both store and move around the steel plates as the cart is on wheels. I must say, everything they sent me is high quality pieces. I am extremely pleased with both their equipment as well as how they packaged the equipment for shipment. I will try to do a review on these items in the near future. Hopefully the pictures are attached, not sure how to attach the pictures so if anyone has any tips on how to attach pictures properly let me know. Thank you!

Wow, you went with a big order for sure. I have a pair of rot-8 handles and they are so awesome! I wanted to order the attachments when they got out but i am worried to loose too much range of motion and it may be similar to using the mag grips (i have them all). As for the wedges, it is so good, i am following Ben Pakulski for a long time and he is always using different wedges for working the legs from different angles. Your order is for sure an expensive one!

I have the rot-8's and love them. I am also considering ordering the attachments but I am aorried about the loss of range motion . They also seem expensive for what you get, they could have killed two birds with one stone making the wide attachment include narrow adjustments.

Looking for a review on both of these purchases. I've been considering the wedges for a future purchase

That angled sissy squat is a brilliant idea / design! There would be no way to take tension off of the quads at the top. OUCH!!!
