Installation wasn't difficult, but very time consuming. The layout of this room had several cutouts around the stairway that took a while to do. The baseboards were on top of the old carpet so I was able to get the rubber back under those along all the sides which helped a lot. Anyone installing a rubber floor needs to take the time to check the room for squareness, I measured and had reference lines both directions to measure and make cuts from. The hardest part for me was all the bending, kneeling, and getting up and down from the floor all day.

I got the 10% colored flecks based on opinions here on the forum and I'm glad I did. It definitely doesn't show dirt and dust like solid stall mats I have.
I'd recommend this for anyone, however , I do have four stall mats set up under my power rack which is in the adjoining garage. Now OK for Sig line to be a novel

You need a good rack, a bench, and a 300-lb Olympic weight set. Now, what was your question?

Ironggrandpa floring looks really great. I might end up tearing up my tile and trying to get some in my basement if we can afford to redo the floors.

The carpet we had was ready to be replaced and when my wife started looking at new carpet, going with the rolled rubber was my choice and she's very happy with it. IMO, rolled rubber flooring is less expensive than having a good grade of carpet installed. The room was carpeted with a commercial grade carpet like what would be used in an office and the Regupol flooring ( with me doing the installing) was $200 cheaper than replacing the old carpet with new.

lol I was talking about the name of the machine lol
when its loaded up and the pads are on your shoulders you can do a reverse shrug (weight on top instead of bottom). feels just like a regular shrug.
bonus is I can put up to 720 pounds on it (matrix said the weight limit was whatever you can get on it, or unlimited, so with chains who knows). I couldn't budge a floor shrug at 720 pounds.Last edited by matrix563; 03-11-2017 at 09:43 PM.

Sadly 400sf of space dedicated to a gym in NOVA (northern virgina) is a lot. Houses are small there...and even those small ones run $400k and up. The entire tri state DC area is disgusting imo. People living on top of each other like cockroaches. Inflated prices that make no sense. A house that costs $70k in material will cost you $300k. Good luck with that. Cant wait to get out of this cluster of a city (I rent a 1 bedroom apt in the maryland metro area.)
