I am swapping out my old leg curl, leg extension, shoulder press, arm curl, triceps extension for the selectorized strive versions, but I think I can get 3 more pieces in my basement, if that.
already have the ab machine down there but will try and fit the triceps press down and shoulder raise.

I got my new deadlift platform put together today after moving a ton of stuff from my garage to my new shed. My wife is picking up more horse stall mats tomorrow and we're clearing out the rest of the non gym stuff, so I'm stoked to have my garage be 100% gym soon.

unfortunately not the whole line, two pieces that I wanted didn't come with it the rear dealt pec fly and back extension.
I have two inner/outer thighs, two ab machines and then a seated leg curl along with a prone leg curl.

I wouldnt say the king, there are a couple here that more then rival my collection.

Damn dude, welcome to the Strive Barbell Club. A few years back I picked up some selectorized Strive pieces:
Leg Extension (not bad, gets used weekly)
Back extension (I do like, and use to compliment deadlifts)
Seated row (not the greatest, but decent machine)
Lat pull down (narrow grips, not the best but it's got a low height so it fits in my low basement)
Bicep curl (don't really use much, but my kids do)
Tricep extension (don't really use much, but my kids do, decent machine)

The dude had more pieces but I tried a few out that I didn't like. Been a while, but I didn't like their shoulder pieces much, curious to hear how they work out for you. Post up which machines you got once you have time. Cool score.

Interesting - their Leg Ext is ranked best of the best in MD's thread (plate loaded one). I'm guessing different biomechanics. Prime/Strive isn't far from me. I want to demo their LE and functional trainer at some point. Just haven't made the time to go up.

    I have:
    Prime/Strive pullover
    Strive lateral raise
    Strive rotary torso
    Strive plate load bicep

I had the plate load leg extension, but replaced it with a MEDX leg extension and a Hammer Strength MTS leg extension.

Only one other piece of Strive interests me.

The showroom wasn't completed when I was there to pick up my pullover.

That might be the best functional trainer on the market.

Prime must think so as well. I think that it is priced thousands more than the competition.

I placed a small order from Prime just yesterday.

    Strive pieces I have

Plate loaded bicep curl - selling since I have the selectorized now
Plate loaded triceps extension - selling since I have the selectorized now
    Selectorized bicep curl
    Selectorized triceps extension
    Selectorized dip machine
    Selectorized lateral shoulder raise
Selectorized shoulder press - selling my Selectorized nautilus shoulder press
Selectorized incline press - selling as I don't do incline press much
    Selectorized seated row
Selectorized lat pull down (thinking of modding so I have a wide grip handle) still keeping my cable lat pull down
Selectorized leg extension - selling my icarian leg extension
Selectorized prone leg curl - selling my cybex leg curl. I like the cybex's ergonomics/convergence better, but love the adjustable strength curl on the strive, not sure if I can mod the ergonomics of the strive yet some how.
Selectorized seated leg curl - selling since I have the prone leg curl.
two Selectorized inner outer thigh mahines - selling one as I don't need 2 lol
two Selectorized ab machines - selling one since I don't need two
    Selectorized multi-hip

Like I said I eventually want to get the Selectorized pec/rear delt and the Selectorized back extension, really liked the back extension when I demoed it at Prime, seemed by changing the cam you can focus on the hamstrings or glutes

Rpack: Any reason why you don't like the shoulder pieces? So far I do, I am able to kill my shoulders pretty fast (shoulders are a weak point on me, I need to work up)

I can't really tell much of a difference in leg extensions, they're all pretty much the same to me. Plus my Strive stuff is a much older version than Healthnut had. Don't get me wrong, it's a decent machine, I'm just not a big nut over leg extensions.

Again, the ones I tested were older, but as I recall, they didn't really line up well with my body. The shoulder press felt like I was sitting too far back, but it was really just a minimal nit-picky first impression. Plus, I'm used to doing overhead shoulders with dumbbells more than machines.

Have you ever seen a workout machine that wasnt bolted together in some way/shape/form? Not trying to be a jerk but anything with size comes apart...at least from the many machines ive seen.

A few of the animals on this forum could take most of smokinhawks machines apart and fit them in their 4 door sedans.

The strive is, I have to take it all apart then carry it down my stairs, which is only why I have gotten 2 pieces down there in two weeks.

my icarian leg extension and cybex leg curl is a single welded frame, hardest pieces to get down my basement.
I decided against an icarian hack squat because of the single welded frame, 7g

I did take a part the strive plate loaded biceps curl and put it in my car, but I could not close the trunk.

haha king? with a strive collection missing rear pec fly and back extension? lol what a loser! you should be ashamed of yourself trying to show off that garage full of gym equipment

i'm kidding of course. will your wife and/or lifting pals be using any of this equipment? IIRC you still lift in a gym with your competing buddies, no?

Yes sir. Almost all Cybex machines are fully welded along with many others I have looked at. They do not come apart. Hammer Strength are bolted together, but, extremely big and heavy. Had a good price on full line of Cybex VR2. No go getting them down basement stairs with a 30 inch door.

FYI - Going to send a PM.

I didnt realize that. Ive had a commercial cybex smith, power rack and crossover towers and those came apart with ease. Im used to hammer strength stuff and yea...all of those are bolted.
