You need a good rack, a bench, and a 300-lb Olympic weight set. Now, what was your question?

Thats so crazy that you found 2 of the bench you where looking to buy anyway! I hate you! I want another 3103, best overall bench dollar for dollar in my opinion. I am curious how you think it stacks up to the bench you wrte considering buying used, was it the cybex? I know the cybex is considered one of the best overall adjustable benches by some, and you are a big fan. I think youll find the 3103 stacks up fvorable. You keeping both?

Actually, I already had the deal in the works and was just trying to get some initial thoughts when I found your thread! I'm a huge fan of the Cybex 5435, that bench is really tough to beat for a few reasons. It's lower to the ground, cant feel the pad gap at all, and the lower seat in incline NEVER has issues with hitting the backrest. Coincidentally those are the biggest three things I noticed about the Legend 3103 right away (aside from it's weight). It's a little taller, my butt instantly hit the gap when I laid flat, and I had to play around with the seat height in the incline position. I'll probably keep my flat bench, and the Legend will make an amazing db bench.
In the Legend's favor it feels like a higher quality bench, the pop-pins are precision like I have never seen before, and regardless of inclined or flat there is ZERO movement. With the Cybex the backrest did had a little shift to it because of the hinges, which was more noticeable in the flat position. Overall though I'm VERY impressed with the Legend so far, and even full retail I can see why it's one of the most popular commercial benches!βͺββββββββͺ Equipment Crew #58 βͺββββββββͺ

yep it is a clone but it is not as good The leg curl is great but the leg extension is not as good. The padding are not perfect neither. Nothing comes close to Atlantis when it comes to quality. I have my eyes on a package of Atlantis selectorized units in mint condition. I will sell my clone when i have the Atlantis.

LOL, Home Gym Gear Sluts (HGGS)!
After playing with bench today I'm definitely keeping my flat bench. The 17" Atlas bench works perfectly with my safeties, it's super light and easy to move around, and I have grown accustomed to the 12" wide padding. We will see how long both green monsters last, one is staying indefinitely it's just a matter of do I REALLY need two. Knowing my OCD with buying/selling equipment I have a feeling one might get sold just to fund the next purchase, so I might put an ad out there and let it sit until I get exactly what I want. In the meantime dedicated benches for flat, incline, and military!βͺββββββββͺ Equipment Crew #58 βͺββββββββͺ

Went back to FIBO today to pick up some stuff.
I think I pushed my poor car to it's limits: 300kg rubber flooring, 120kg of DC Blocks, 100kg me, and some other **** (trolleys, water, food...).
Well, over 60% discount on brand new stuff. Worth it.

having a wide pad is really tough to beat. i like my bodymasters bench more than my prostar in just about everything except that my PS has a wider pad, so that's the one i bench with..
still, one for the dumbbells, one for the rack...i dunno doesn't seem like too much of a stretch to me. maybe keep both until you can trade one with a decline...Domicron's Basement Gym and Fun House

I'm leaning towards keeping them, gym looks awesome having three benches setup and ready to rock. My wife has actually weighed in on this as well, which shocked me because normally she doesn't give a DAMN what I do in my gym. She took one look at them and said "You are keeping both right?". +1 for Legend Fitness, got the wife's elusive stamp of approval...

Thanks for the reinforcement man, good to get some outside perspectives so I don't do something I will regret again. I'll keep them both and just enjoy having lots of options, space is a non-concern so I'm out of excuses aside from trying to buy other stuff. Reps on spread fellas.

Picked up some more York plates today. I think at least 2 if not all 25s, 3 of the tens, and two of the 5s are milled. Plus the ship wheels, but they need some work.
I quote with pics. ()---() York Barbell Club #78 (DD) ()---()
