I've always loved that Bear Squat...one of the best lower body accessory pieces you can find! Just wished they made that deck a little wider.

I had the same squat machine and loved it and admittedly regret ever getting rid of it. Mine was blue and you got a steal of a deal from your purchase. If I ever come across one again I am going to buy immediately. Even my wife was surprised I sold it as much as I talked about it and used it in my workout routines

Yes, that looks like an older Super Cat which is a lighter frame with shorter plate posts than the Bear. I use to own a Super Cat that had the front pin for the pedestal which has been upgraded to a side spring loaded knob which is a huge improvement. One of the reasons why I sold the Cat but you can rig up a chain so it can't drop out of your hand when raising & lowering the pedestal. Yours also doesn't have the newer top frame side grips but at least pads look like originals which are pretty comfortable.

It is the super cat, I had a bear squat machine show up but the guy wanted 1200 for it but it was in pristine condition and he would deliver it for no additional charge. He decided to keep it since he kept on getting low balled but told me if I pay asking price the deal was still on. I told him I couldn't do that much. Regrets, that is one of mine!

After giving it a good tune up and maintenance job, I used it today with both functions. No complaints so far. I havent done leg extensions or leg curls on a machine for a while, and Im barely coming back from some disc issues, so the isolation burn really kicked my @ss. I want to use it a few more times before really forming an opinion on it. Im not working out at all next week, so Ill do a full review of it in a week or two. I will say this though already, its here to stay.

Went to 2 places on 1 trip today

- 2x 25kg bumpers

- 2x Barbarian squat stands, only used a couple of times (barely any marks visible) + a ATX Ram bar new in the tube.

Will sell my old squat stands + 1 of the new pair. I will probably end up with a serious upgrade + new 270 euro barbell for a total of 50 euros or so

New model squat stands has rubber hooks, rubber feet and numbered holes. + they are black instead of grey.

It was $850 so like 91% off retail. I was glad I waited because I was planning on getting an Icarian lat pulldown machine for $680 that has been on CL for a month now

Picked up another 1000+lbs of plates yesterday. I actually traded for the majority of them. Did a quick recalculation and I came up with a new total of 5062.5lbs of matching plates in the gym.

I also picked up one of the last 2 super rare pieces that I have been looking to find.

Seller was an amateur and didn't want to schedule a time for me to pick it up, then tried to get me to outbid the person who was there on the spot with cash LOL. No biggie, they pop up from time to time.

in my area, i see some commercial stuff but it's mostly cybex, precor, a few matrix and pro-maxima pieces but nothing from the smaller companies. i have seen a few legend pieces pop up lately (not that they're smaller) but i think you just gotta keep your eyes peeled for what DOES show up and find out how good it is.

I just bought a Legend Fitness Westside Barbell Ultra Supreme Reverse Hyper. Tilt top with foot roller. But I'm still waiting on freight quotes this coming week. Now I gotta unload my other RH to make room for this baby.

(The model has the yellow pop pins, and large rubber feet so I think it's a Legendary piece and not a Dynamic Fitness & Strength model)

I couldn't find a red frame with black top. Oh well I'll survive lol. It's gray colored with blue upholstery. Slate gray?

Interesting - look at the extra joint in the pendulum. I think an extra joint is what makes Rogue or straight pendulums unusable with the roller (for tall people anyway). I finally added Mech's modification which adds an offset and an effective extra joint (when roller is attached) and my straight pendulum works like a charm now with the roller. I'm very interested in how this one works for you with both strap and roller options.
