I picked up this Life Fitness 95Ci for $90 last Tuesday, but didn't get to tearing it down and cleaning it until today. It's a little loud and has some frame rust (that someone spray painted over), but everything works and any functional commercial bike for <= $100 is a steal.

    New IronMasters Finally Arrived

Just got my new IronMasters with the stand and 120lb add-on kit delivered today and put together. I have my hex dumbbell set listed on CL and FB Marketplace for $3500. Not in a hurry to sell them, I won't be too disappointed if I end up keeping the 5-50lbs hex dumbbells and end up selling just the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and 100s.
Got lucky with the IMs, I complained to the company about not giving priority ordering, or pre-ordering to repeat customers. They sent me a link to their hidden site which still had some inventory.

Nice. Congrats. I tried to buy a used set of the 120s w/ stand for $550 about 2 weeks ago, but someone else snatched them up and promptly relisted them for $1,200.

Picked up 590 lbs worth of Hampton Dura-Bells for $100. They are, unfortunately, completely random pairs, but this might be the motivation I needed to start collecting a set.

Excellent price. I got considerably more for my B during corona, and it had a dying monitor.

I'm really happy with the new Model D I picked up.

I'm back again. :P Six months ago I probably would not have driven as far as I did for this one, but $700 is now considered a great deal on these around here and most go for $1,200+. I picked up this one for $200. It's in great shape aside from the melted handles, which is a trademark of Life Fitness equipment and something I have come to accept.

I used to see those often for ~$100, but pandemic pricing has drive them up to ~$400. :x How are the biomechanics?

Comparing apples to apples, if you use to see name brand, commercial quality and in mint condition machines like this for $100, in my opinion that is a steal. It is hard to find a CAP adjustable bench on FB / CL these days for that price. I don't have any past "normal conditions" price point for equipment as I just started buying pieces in the last couple months so maybe I picked the wrong time to start building my gym.

I have only used the machine a few times, but I like it. I feel it hitting the target area and it is nice and smooth. The one negative thing is that the top edge of the lower pad does put a little pressure across my back (like it is digging into it) when going all the way back. It is not terrible or anything and I am still happy with it- just worth noting.

Actually, it was this specific machine that I saw many times for around $100 and even at that price they would take a couple weeks to sell. That’s why I was curious about the biomechanics.

    * Edit: This Star Trac one just popped up on my feed for $150. https://www.********.com/marketplace...2558465920322/

Back extension machines are another albatross, but the issue there is that it’s not a particularly useful use of one’s time in the gym or floor space in a home gym, so those are a hard sell at any price.

I assume you're talking about the weight-stack type machines.

Probably going to get the landmine attachment from IronMaster when I get my IM2000. Is that the T-Bar handle that's acting as a kind of jack for the plate end? Looks like it might just spin around and then you have the V grip handles.

I had gotten one as part of a package deal, cost me $50, I tried selling it 3 times before the pandemic and it sat for months with no offers at all. I separated the stack and sold it for $75 during the pandemic, happy I at least got my money back, will probably end up scrapping the steel or giving it away.

That's the Rogue parallel landmine handle, picked that up recently and it's pretty nice!

That's nice looking. I just watched a review on it. Not a bad price either. Did you go with the fat grip handles or standard? I like how much it's offset, looks like you can comfortably use 45s on the end of the bar without losing any ROM. I just use a standard V grip handle and have to use 35s so not to lose any ROM. Really the only thing in my gym I use the 35s on besides my seated calf raise, same reason for full ROM.

I picked up this one for $200. It's in great shape aside from the melted handles, which is a trademark of Life Fitness equipment and something I have come to accept.

We spent a couple hours scrubbing her down with Zep (she was covered in grease) and finished reassembly a little while ago. She just needs some new rubber grips now.

Picked up a complete set of Ivanko 55 - 100 lb. dumbbells (picture is only of some of them). Looking at Ivanko's website, I believe these are urethane. 1550 lbs. for $1300.

Saw those and would have grabbed them if they had been 5-100.
